“I bought this book for my son's birthday. It arrived undamaged but the front cover - supposed to be blue leatherette with silve embossed name - was nothing like that at all. Just a white label on a blue paper cover. Also the font in some of the articles is so small they really cannot be read without a magnifying glass! (and i have good eyesight!!.) I would very much like a refund. Please send me a return postage label. I have already emailed you with several photograghs”

“I thought we were getting a re-print. This was old, and musty with mold oder. This is very dangerous for the elderly, and in some cases it could be deadly, sending a frail person into respitoray arrest. Also the item was falling apart deteriorating so bad it could not be viewed.”

“Really disappointed with the quality of the product I received. The binding is poor and the print quality of the personalization was really bad as well. I was embarassed to gift this but i did not have time to seek out an alternative. I would not order again.”

“On page 5 of the original Daily Express 4th September 1935 is a story concerning my grandfather. I contracted to buy this paper, but was sent the Welsh Edition which does not feature the story. Although they said there were Scottish and Irish editions of this same date's Express, they did not bother to say that this was the Welsh edition not the national edition which I can see on the Daily Express archive website. So basically I have been missold £58 of waste paper”

“I paid for gift boxes on both of my books and only got one. Sent emails numerous times about this and received no response or it said that my email didn't go through. Never did find another way of contacting the company. Will not be ordering again”

“I was very surprised to get an email asking for a review of your product. I never received the product ordered back in November. The order was scheduled to arrive at the end of November. After several emailes, I was told if it didn't arrive by Christmas Eve I would be issued a refund. The product has never arrived. After more emails on December 29th, I was told I would be issued a refund. I still have not received the refund. Instead I received an email asking for a review of a product I have never received. I asked for telephone number to speak with someone from the company and I was told they do not have one and only communicate by email.”

“I ordered 2 of the same item, and was only shipped one. While I am very pleased with the item I did receive, I am panicking trying to figure out why my other item shows delivered, when it was not in the package. I have send numerous emails, there is no contact phone number and I am losing hope I’ll have this Christmas gift in time.”

“I’m really disappointed in the book I received. I paid for the leather cover and gift box. What was received was a mess - it’s as if pages are wet, the binding is completely coming apart, and even the gift box is damaged (I wouldn’t be upset about the box if they didn’t charge you for it). I’ve reached out to customer service and will update this review once they respond and a new book is received. I’ve tried several times to add photos of the book but the website won’t upload them”

“First of all, it took 24 days to get my order. I tried getting in tough with consumer service and after about 5 days the responded and finally let me know my order was being shipped. But when the book arrived the cover was scratched and had scuff marks all over it. The package was perfectly fine, so clearly the damage was done before they had shipped it out. The idea of the product is wonderful, but it is embarrassing to have to give this to someone as a gift. For almost $100 one would hope that they are getting a beautiful, quality piece, and this is not the case.”

“Purchased via NOTHS. Later than indicated delivery. Poor communication around expected delivery date that meant I had to buy a back up gift. finally arrived day before the big birthday and a blemish on the cover. Can’t believe a product can be released with this damage but too late to return etc.”
