Totally unreadable without a magnifying glass - tried by a variety of differently sighted people with or without prescription or reading spectacles. Every single person needed to use magnifying equipment

The writing on the football Newcastle United book I received is too small and you can only view the photos and not read anything in the first half of the book. I have sent an email complaint and so far it seems even though I spent over £50 having it personalised, the company are not interested in my complaint. I have asked that they escalate my complaint and I have been informed that a Customer Service Manager will be in touch with the next five days, must be very busy in Customer Service if it takes 5 takes to get back to a customer! I would not recommend anyone else buying this book, I am really disappointed in the quality of the book, the cover of the book is lovely, I cannot fault that. It is just the inside of the book that is at fault. The whole book is just one big disappointment.

MY ORDER WAS IN 2 PARTS, AND I ASSUMED THAT I WOULD RECEIVE THEM TOGETHER, HOWEVER, I LEARNED THAT THIS WHAT NOT THE CASE. THE FIRST PART ARRIVED 2 DAYS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED, LUCKILY I WAS AT HOME! AS IT WAS A FRAME MOUNTED NEWSPAPER, I CHECKED IT AT ONCE. TO MY HORROR, THE WHOLE THING WAS IN SEPARATE BITS!!! AS IT WAS A WEEKEND NEWSPAPER FROM 28 YEARS AGO, THERE WERE LOTS OF MAGAZINES / EXTRAS PACKED INTO A LARGE PLASTIC ENVELOPE,.............. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, SOME IDIOT HAD FORCED THIS INSIDE THE PICTURE FRAME, CONSEQUENTLY, PUSHING THE ORIGINAL CONTENTS OUT. I HAD TO SECURE / FIX / REMOUNT AND SEAL ALL AGAIN MYSELF. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL CONSIDERING THE PRICE PAID !!!!!!

Totally messed up a birthday gift for a relative. Absolutely poor customer service just copy paste answers and no effort to resolve issue. The most I got for wasting all my time and money was a partial refund of the premium postage. Aweful company that's quick to take your money and doesn't care after that

Some of the worst customer service I've ever received. Whilst mistakes happen, especially with couriers. When the newspaper I ordered in plenty of time failed to arrive on time (paid extra for next day over night delivery) it was me who had made a mistake. Rather than an apology, I was made to feel I had made the mistake, and indeed I had... ordering from this company was the mistake, one I shall not make again.

Far far too expensive for what you receive, the packaging was inept and this was a present for my 88 year old uncle and I wish I had got him something else. Sorry!! not for me

Received in a bad state, the gift box was scratched & had big air bubbles in it, the front of the book, the inscription was appalling, had lots of bits missing out of the lettering, have been in touch, sent pics, they are going to send another out, it's my husbands birthday Thursday!!! No record of the item yet? Just received my 2nd order to have the gift box missing!! Absolutely not happy at all, grant you the actual book itself was a lot better, still few marks on writing but better than the 1st. I will be emailing customer service as it really isn't funny when you've paid a lot of money for it.

Ordered for my parents diamond 60th wedding anniversary. I used one of their pre prepared statements which automatically when selected populates the label. I did not thoroughly check this and pressed send. Immediately after I noticed words missing. I sent an e mail straight away within 5 min. I received a reply from customer services the next day saying that I was to late as it was now in production I could re order a new label at a cost of £3.99p. I did attempt this but the link which was sent did not provide me an option to do this. I sent a message back saying that it was poor service as I had all ready payed £88 for the book and I did not consider I was at fault as I used their own template. I also added that an additional £3.99p although not much was a bit of an insult after my initial outlay. My advice would be to check and double check any messages you have written and hopefully you will have not made an error which would result in disappointment and additional cost. As a footnote I made my own label. Not many people reach 60 years being married this should have been special to go along side the message from the queen. I was disappointed.

Ordered and paid for a historic newspaper. This was not delivered on the day that was agreed. When I called to chase up they said there had been an issue and no longer stocked the newspaper and offered me one from a random UK county, 500 miles away from where I requested.

I ordered this for my mother’s 99th birthday. The order was placed on the Monday, with her birthday on the following Sunday. The order didn’t arrive until the Tuesday after!! I don’t consider this a reasonable time, to get to me in time for the event(the expected delivery was Thursday/Friday) And this did take away the element of surprise to her, as had nothing to give her on her birthday. An offer of a refund, was of no use to me, in the circumstances. So if you order one of these, give PLENTY of notice.

Very disappointed to find that almost all of the headlines were from the Daily and Sunday Mirror neither of which are known for their golf coverage. I was expecting to find records of insightful coverage of the Ryder Cup through the years. It looked as though it was going to be difficult to read some of the articles without breaking the back of the book. I bought the book for a friend and although it was nicely bound I felt embarrassed to give it. Certainly not worth the money.

Bit disappointed that many of the page edges were sticky taped but I suppose it is a 60 odd year old newspaper and I’m sure it’ll be covered in the small print.

The parts that they created are either stuck in wonky or the printing is not complete. I emailed the company 6 days ago including pictures of what I was not happy with and they have not replied so they truly deserve a poor rating. I paid over £60 for a 90th birthday present and what they have sent is not worth the money. I'm sure after a poor review my complaint will be addressed and if not the rating is deserved.

Disappointing. There was an error in the compilation of the year book ordered and a replacement was not sent in time. Customer Services while perfunctory and polite wasn’t really helpful unless pressed each time and didn’t go above and beyond. Product is ok - but dusty when received and quality of pages ok/mediocre photocopy. Nice idea - poorly executed and wouldn’t order again owing to Customer Service received.

I accidentally clicked on the wrong date! Didn't notice until the conformation email! Emailed immediately to correct. I got a response two days later! Telling me it was to late! Cant change or cancel! Be warned! To your reply.... If you work 24hours! Why did it take two days for you to reply! And yes I did ring first, but the answer phone message said to email because You weren't taking calls!! Also ordering the book it didn't give you several times to check, if you had an error!

I requested a newspaper for my brother's 60th, and gave them the date as 1966. Having just come out of hospital i was a little confused. The person who took my order on the phone (in my opinion) should have looked into the factt that I was 10yrs out and the date I should have given was indeed 1956. Historic newspapers we're rather unsympathetic and charged me again to get the date right as I couldn't let my brother have a leather bound book with the wrong date on it. all in all I paid twice for my brother's present.
