“This would have been a great present had I been given a preview of the headlines of the day I had requested before purchase, I would still have wanted to buy from here but maybe a different paper with not the same headlines. Hence the 2 star review, I did think about giving one star as I could not give this as the present that I had purchased it for and this was £35 wasted!”

“Bought fro my 95th father's birthday. He was fascinated with it. What else do you buy someone of this age? It was perfect for this milestone. My only negative comment was that the presentation box I paid extra for, was bent in the corners in transit, not really surprising given the flimsy packaging it was sent in. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to highlight this to shop, as I would have missed the birthday. Also just a warning - the size of text on a 1926 paper is tiny - and im not sure my father would be be able to read it , even with a magnifying glass - but as I can't travel back in time and ask them to reprint it, theres not much one can do about that!!”

“A friend of mine received an historic newspaper as a birthday gift. She was absolutely delighted I liked what I saw and bought a newspaper for each of my daughters. They were thrilled with them I've decided to give some friends a paper as a gift. The whole process from start to finish has been excellent. The sales person at the office was lovely to deal with. The gift newspaper comes in a lovely presentation box with a personalised message (optional). A five star gift from a five star team”

“Thank you so much! The site was easy to navigate & I chose a local paper to commemorate my parents' first date 60+ years ago, to be sent direct to them as part of their Christmas present. About an hour later, I realised I'd chosen the wrong year. I emailed, and called, the support team. The telephone response was courteous and very helpful, my email was found and linked into the resolution process, the mistake was resolved and a replacement chosen by the end of the day. I spoke to 2 team members and both could trace my order history and the progress in resolving my mistake. Brilliant service. Thank you all.”
