“I can't really say exactly how the product was although the concept was wonderful. This was a gift sent directly to an elderly person who seemed to like it very much. She suffers from dementia so we aren't 100% clear how much she was able to remember. We were just hoping that it might trigger some memories of her life. I think the idea is brilliant!”

“I was looking for something as an appropriate gift for my wife on the occasion of our ruby wedding anniversary. I had in mind a newspaper printed on the day of our wedding and an internet search led me to the Historic Newspapers site. I found the site very easy to use and soon found there was one copy left of the Guardian Newspaper for the date of our wedding. The site also offers the option of a gift box and a personalised message which I selected. The newspaper arrived promptly in the post, two days later. My wife and I are both delighted with this unique memento of our special day 40years ago and have found it fascinating to read about the events that were happening on that day. I would highly recommend Historic Newspapers to anyone who is looking for an unusual gift or something distinctive to commemorate a special day.
