However, what is disappointing is that for $50 , l expected a book about four times as thick as what I received. It looks like a damn “Golden Book” for toddlers. I’m actually embarrassed to give this for a 70-year old’s birthday present.”

“I purchased a book, as a birthday present, of first pages of The Telegraph since 1937. I was very disappointed with the quality of the reproduction with so many pages totally unreadable including the later 1990 editions. I enquired whether the unreadable pages could be reprinted because what is the point of producing, at considerable cost (£74), something totally unreadable? I was informed that this is how it is. A TOTAL waste of money!”
