Homechoice has the worst service ever ...poo sies ... I bought an iphone (good second hand) according to the catalogue. I bought the phone online on the 24th August 2025, (heritage day). Today is the 6th of October 2025 I have yet to receive the phone. My phone was faulty, the reason why I decided to buy a phone from them, my phone is now completely dead, the "new phone" I have ordered from them I have not yet received despite going to the prominade showroom on two separate occasions to enquire about the phone. Homechoice you do not value your long-standing customers, when your shops close down it would be like we do not support you. There's too much red-tape and long waiting period of time for our goods. There is no sense of urgency .. am closing that account Homechoice you are the worst.

Please guys let's stop buying blankets at home choice ..it's not good at all..I'm paying more than installment.And they even delivered wrong blankets to me.. whenever I'm paying the money is not decreasing..i have paid more than my installment .. please guys let's stop putting ourselves into debits ...

I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT HOMECHOICE AGAIN. THEY DELIVERED WRONG THINGS AND EVEN THOUGH I RETURNED THEM, IM STILL PAYING THEM. ITS A NEVER ENDING INSTALLMENT. THEY ALSO SENT ANOTHER PACKAGE WHICH I RETURNED BECAUSE THEY CLAIMED IT WAS A GIFT BUT IT CAME WITH A PROOF OF PURCHASE ABD THEIR NEVER ENDING CALLING. I'm doneeeeeee.

I'm very disappointed with the service I got from the managers at homechoice Black heath. The one is following what the one says without investigating and making informed decision. They treated me badly and I was disgraced and felt dehumanised in front of others.

A gentleman called me at work today to ask me when I am going to pay. I asked the gentleman why is he calling me at work because I had my phone with me and I have never even missed a payment. He became very rude and aggressive telling me make sure you pay your account on thine and dropped a call on me. The tone and the arrogance when he called my work it was as if I was not answering my phone and that he has been trying to call. He was so loud that my colleague could even over hear the conversation. My balance at home choice is R570 and I have paid off off than R12000 every month without messing one instalment. I have now decided to pay off home choice and close my account with home choice that's how bad and rude the gentleman was. And I am not even a person that is easily angered. But because of that guy guy home choice has lost me as their loyal customer

Poor Service, Faulty Product, and No Resolution I’ve been paying for a faulty washing machine for over 3 months, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue with Defy customer service, their communication has been awful. They sent an order to HomeChoice to close the case without offering any replacement or repair and my recent emails went unanswered. The Homechoice store manager has shown no empathy and failed to provide any support or follow-up. It feels like I’ve been left stranded, with my money being taken but no action taken on their part. The lack of urgency, support, and communication is extremely frustrating. This was my first purchase with them and it's awful and disgusting. I will never ever make a purchase by them ever again and I will make my voice very loud to warn potential customers. I won't let this one slide, even if it takes me a year, scammer.

Never answer the phone. 40 min on Number 1 and nobody answered the phone. Several times I phoned them they never answer

As matter of fact its a zero star ....highly dissapointed with the quality of home choice bedding ...I received my order in February ...its not even three months of using their bedding but already too many flaws the sheet already torn after 3 washes an the comforter not even washed yet but the stitching is opening ..a total waste of money even mr price home bedding is far better quality an much cheaper ....

I get at least 5 calls from Home choice A DAY. Please stop harassing us! I don't want to buy because of this very reason, & the agents are extremely RUDE, they hang up on you as soon as they hear "not interested". PLEASE, STOP!!!

I receive AROUND 20 or more phone call from Homechoice with in a weeks time. I want to report it as harassment. I was never behind on my payments they receive payment on time every month. I stopped for a long time to buy from them for the same reason harassment. Then I start order once more and now I really regret buying from you. I dont want any calls from you. Thanks

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with HomeChoice’s blatant disregard for customer privacy and its failure to address a serious complaint. I have been a loyal HomeChoice customer for the past eight months, and my account has always been in good standing. Despite my responsible payment history, I am now facing an alarming breach of privacy and a complete lack of accountability from HomeChoice. On March 5, 2025, I lodged a formal complaint regarding a breach of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013. My personal information—specifically, my partner’s contact number—was accessed and used without my consent. I never provided his number to HomeChoice, yet on March 26, 2025, he received a call regarding my account. I immediately contacted HomeChoice for an explanation. An agent confirmed that my partner’s number was not even listed in their system but failed to explain how they obtained and used it. This raises serious concerns about their handling of customer data and potential misuse of private information. Since submitting my complaint, I have been met with silence and complete disregard from HomeChoice. Instead of addressing the issue, they have chosen to harass me with up to five calls per day demanding payment—while ignoring my legitimate privacy concerns. As a responsible and loyal customer, I am appalled by HomeChoice’s lack of professionalism and accountability. I refuse to make any further payments until this matter is properly addressed. If HomeChoice does not respond within 48 hours, I will escalate this issue to the Credit Ombudsman and relevant consumer protection bodies. Customers beware! If HomeChoice can *******ly access and use private numbers, what other privacy violations are happening behind the scenes? This is a serious red flag, and I urge others to think twice before trusting them with personal information. #POPIAViolation #HomeChoicePrivacyBreach #ConsumerRights

Extremely poor and unprofessional delivery service. Keep sending me emails that my parcel is out for delivery for 5 consecutive days but no delivery. After investigating the situation, I find out they are delivering to the wrong address. I have been sitting at home for a week waiting for a parcel that isn't coming. No communication. Nothing. I will be requesting a refund and won't be ordering from them again. This is ridiculous and disappointing as this was a gift for my son. Now he will be disappointed too 😔

I am disappointed in your customer service, after I let you know on all platforms that my airfryer just stopped working, there was an automated response saying that you are open today from 7h00 to 12h00. No contact has been made yet which leaves me shocked since your consultants have been contacting both me and my husband day and night so that we should buy more products from you. Now that we ask to come and pick up the airfryer, it just stopped working, no one is available. We pay our bill on time. I would expect the same loyalty from you.

I ordered a 15 piece bedding set which I was supposed to get a free mink blanket but it's not there.im trying to call but no response.so im so disappointed en I believe it's my last ORDER.IM DONE..

Very poor Quality Curtains for the price I have to pay, I could rather have gone to Volpes and bought better quality for even less than what I have paid !!!! Would never order from Homechoice again !!!

They drag feet to update my account and provide me with paid up letter.Your legal department don't answer their phones but hve private conversation while holding on line.Please update and closed my account. Don't want anything to Do with Homechoice ever again

Terrible terrible company ever, I have no words to express my dissapointment. The call agents are ghetto, rude, incompetent and worst of all my installment keeps increasing, HAYBO!!! These people need to be investigated.

This company is nonsense, they have the worst agents who do call avoidance, the level of avoiding calls is so high. They add payments to your bill that you were never told of. The products are good but the agents, customer services is horrible. Agents are rude and hang up the call, no empathy nothing. Who does training??? Imagine sibanga uR1300 really ?? Cha umoya wami niyawuphula!!!
