Bought a P bath from Bathshop321 in 2016 on the basis it would be quality and they said made by Ideal Standard. A complete bathroom redesign was delayed including covid. The bath was stored on its legs, level, in a spare bedroom. When we came to install in 2021 we discovered a 5 mm dip at a section on the 'straight' wall rim not immediately obvious on delivery. The bath was a premium 10mm thick acrylic with a 25 yr guarantee. Having provided images and measurements to Ideal they said not to install it and contact Bathshop321 for a refund (review of that impossible task documented on Trustpilot) BS said the guarantee was with Ideal despite saying 'with us'. We were blamed for causing the defect during storage. Therefore be aware your Ideal Standard bath will start to melt and dip all on its own in a bedroom. Installed in a bathroom we can only surmise that these poor quality products will also start to self destruct! Common sense says this dip was actually a slight moulding defect but a 2mm seal top and bottom and 7mm in the middle is unsightly and the dip trap water and cause seal failure. Ideal Standard would not accept this could be the cause but saying dont fit it we are hung out to dry by Customer Service. So the seller will not honour the 25 yr guarantee the bath is fit for purpose and Ideal Standard manufacturer will not accept any liability. There was a time this was a reliable brand as with Armitage Shanks also now part of the same stable but not anymore! The only way you could possibly bend 10 mm of acrylic is with a blow torch and pressure which naturally we did to a bath we desperately needed. Avoid this Company now, like their products not fit for purpose and the customer is never right.

Terrible customer service and does not honour warranty on faults that are their issues. Bought a bath from ideal standard and there is a crack I’m the inner fibre glass acrylic. The fitter says this is a manufacturing fault. This is supposed to be covered under ideal standards warranty and they have said that the crack is an impact fault caused by me. This bath has been fitted a month and used twice. I had to chase this matter for three months to get this conclusion. Disgusting customer service and will be escalating to an outside party.

Telephone confirmed item as requested. Prompt delivery. Not 5 stars as it was expensive
