Had problems with Igloo 17 months after leaving them. They claimed £30 was owed, despite settling the final bill in full at the time. They refused to provide any evidence for the claim, instead they sent threatening emails saying they will pass the debt to third-party debt collectors. Heavy-handed tactics to extort cash without presenting any evidence and clearly in breach of Ofgem back-billing rules. Shameful company. Choose another supplier.

They keep increasing prices and do not offer any fixed rate deals. If they only pass on the spot rate then they might not be hedging. They keep increasing my direct debit and now I have a huge credi balance. If this company goes bust my money might not be protected (insured) as Igloo is not a bank regulated by the FCA.

Used money supermarket and changed supplier to igloo energy. The day I switched and was out of my 14 day cooling off period I received a letter with notice that they were increasing my bills by 12.5%. Hooked me in as cheapest supplier, immediately upped my prices by a huge massive 12.5%. Tricked to move supplier to them! Complained, wont cancel so got to switch again

Really poor customer service! We’ve had our smart meter for 18 months and it has sent a reading once! Advisors tell me it’s fixed every month and then fails again. Display unit broke after 12 months and still waiting for a replacement. Avoid at all costs - shocking 😡

was quoted less than my previous supplier, immediately they put the price up my bills have just been higher than before. they tell you the bill is astronomical scare you then after your DD is taken the bill is less, highest we ever had last winter was £138 they just presented me with a £176 for the month. avoid these they really know how to over charge, we are self employed work from home struggling in the lock down and they just raise prices disgusting

Disgraceful company. Have been trying to get an accurate bill for six months. My new energy provider has also been trying to get an accurate bill. They tell us each different stories. Complete lies. Igloo energy tried to over-charge me a ridiculous amount (about 40 quid for two days worth of electricity). Igloo tried to blame it on other companies. Absolutely disgusting business and a very predatory company. Stay away. Don't waste your time or your money on this pathetic attempt of a company.

Stay away from this company! They are a bunch off amateurs. Try to organise a payment plan on my account and although agreed for 6 months at £86 a months within a span of 20 minutes they had adjust the repayments to £185.63 and 20 minutes later to £243.03. The balance was £750. They also keep blocking my switch to another supplier. On and all untrusting!
