“Sharing my recent experience booking a flight to India via IndianEagle. We booked our tickets in May 2022 for travel at the end of Sept 2022 for a family of 4 traveling on AirIndia from EWR to HYD via Delhi. We bought tickets way in advance and were excited to buy the tickets at a reasonable price. Little did we know that we will be paying double of what we paid a few hours before our flight with a long layover. It all started with a call from IndianEagle the night before our flight when they told us that the AirIndia flight we were traveling on was delayed by 9hrs and we had a choice to get a full refund and book another flight. We were traveling for my father's 1 year Death Anniversary ceremony and had to be in India by a certain date. We were going to miss the ceremony if we took the delayed flight, so explained the situation to IndianEagle and chose to take the refund and asked for them to find another flight for the same day so we wouldn't miss the ceremony. IndianEagle found us a flight through Qatar Airways traveling from PHL to HYD via Doha which would take us at a decent time on the day of the Ceremony. We thought all went fine, though we paid extra was happy that we would not miss the ceremony.
What came as a complete surprise was a few hours before the Qatarairways flight, we received a call again from IndianEagle that the Qatarairways flight was canceled. We were astonished and in a desperate situation since we had to leave that day otherwise will not be able to make it to the ceremony at all. Frantically with only a few hours left for us, we asked them to find alternate flights that will still let us fly the same day. They found us an itinerary on Qatarairways that was similar to the previously canceled itinerary but with an 8 hours layover in Doha and it was double the price of what we originally booked for. Being in a desperate situation, we went ahead and booked the flight. Upon further inquiry, found that there may have been some issue with the connecting flight from Doha to HYD so they canceled the entire itinerary. We had no choice but to rebook by shelling out double the money as it was important for us to be with family for the occasion.
When we got to the airport we found that none of the Qatarairways flights were canceled and the connection flight was on time as well. We feel cheated by IndianEagle, we were taken advantage of our situation so they could make money out of us. We were at the gate in Doha watching the connection flight leave which we were originally scheduled to be on and there we were waiting for another 8 hrs to get to our final destination. Not only did we pay double the price but also missed half of the ceremony because of IndianEagle. When passengers cancel tickets IndianEagle charges a penalty. When airlines move or cancel how come they don't compensate the passengers? In this case, even with no cancellation from the airlines, we had to suffer. Would like an explanation of the situation. Fortunately, I'm in a situation where I can pay more money but think about families that cannot afford and have to deal with such situations. We feel IndianEagle has targeted us knowing our situation.”

I am not recommend to book ticket through Indian eagle. Please please do not book any ticket with Indian eagle. it is very hard to get refund from that. Every person is telling different percentage for refund amount.They are keep telling to me you will get refund in 5 weeks from calling date then still I am awaiting for that.
Please don't book the ticket through any agent. Always books the ticket in direct airline website and will get refund immediately.”

DO NOT USE IndianEagle. I used IndianEagle to book a (Air India) ticket to India and wanted to modify my travel dates. This is when my nightmares started. IndiaEagle takes more than 24 hours to just give you a quote, and if you don’t like the quote, again the clock resets to another another long waiting period (typically more than 10 hours). It took me three days and at least 10 calls to modify my ticket. With each phone call, my experience with the customer service has been different. Sometimes the staff were sympathetic (but couldn’t help, citing issues like staff shortage) and other times the staff were outright dismissive. Anyways, IndianEagle has bad customer support and a very weird and lengthy wait time to manage bookings. Beware of this company! You may be better off booking with the original airlines directly, even if it costs a few dollars more.”

“STAY AWAY - REPEATED FRADULENT AND MISLEADING BEHAVIORS BY AGENTS AT INDIAN EAGLE
The agents Sandesh, Rahul, etc. at Indian Eagle are big fraudsters. The floor manager, Ramakrishna is a liar and even worse. The company is run by crooks. After finally heckling for the fare they collect the money and issue the E-Ticket. Several hours later when I check the airlines website I find out that they have issued me a CHILD ticket. When I contact the airlines they tell me Indian Eagle booked the wrong ticket as a CHILD to get a lower fare. Numerous emails sent to Indian Eagle but no response. After calling again and being on endless hold I am told that they will need to cancel and rebook the ticket and now I have to pay a higher fare. SHAMELESSLY THEY INDICATE THAT EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT MY FAULT I NEED TO PAY THE HIGHER FARE THE NEXT DAY. IF I WOULD NOT HAVE CHECKED WITH THE AIRLINES I WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEATED.”
“Never book through them. Its a trap! they don't cooperate to change/modify tickets. very disappointed with the service. I had to cancel the ticket and pay $$$ to cancel.”
“They will not explain you T&C. They hide information and ultimately if you change/Cancel itinerary it will cost your money. In my case because I have booked tickets from Indian eagle now $600 ticket is finally costing to $1000. But I don't have choice. Customer care person told if you want to travel then you have to pay. Also, Avoid Indian eagle if your travel dates are not fixed. They charge extra $240 per person. Better book you tickets directly from Airline website.”

“Terribly unpleasant experience. First they portray that they are giving ticket for very less price and if for some reason you end up for rescheduling you are killed. They give unrealistic reschedule fares and then ask to cancel if not required with a lot of high cancellation fees. The worst is, keep a tab on your credit card, they even make fraudulent charges like after an year. I have raised complaints to all sort of agencies and got back my $1010 back which was charged! Fraud company”
