“Our representative was always very helpful. It did not matter if it was the first time we called or the fifth time, (which we did). She would take her time answering our questions and our Indow window looks like it always belonged where we put it. It is right next to our front door and I think we will have to point it out to people as it blends in with the area around it.”

“As soon as I put the Indows in our two kitchen windows, I could feel the draft stop. It was summer, so I was a bit concerned that the kitchen would become very hot. But no--even though there's only one outlet from the central air conditioning in that room, and of course a kitchen has lots of heat sources. Having the Indows in let the air conditioning function to cool off the kitchen, which it never had done before. A week after the Indows arrived, we had a new kitchen entrance door installed by Pella. That added to what Indow had already accomplished, of course. But even by themselves, the Indows made a huge difference. Can't wait to see how much warmer it will be in winter, which is why we got the Indows. We chose not to get Pella windows because we like the originals and no replacement will be like them. The Indow is truly not noticeable unless you are actually looking at the outer frame, instead of through the window at what is outside. And Indow is about half the cost of a Pella window--and that's including the extra shipping charge for the 3 x 6 windows we installed.”

“The acoustic insert works just as it should, it dampens the traffic noise so we get deeper sleeps, interrupted by outside noises far less often. We weren't sure if it would be worth it before deciding to purchase but now can confidently say we're very pleased and sleeping more soundly.”

“I am extremely cold sensitive. We live in Chicago and moved from a well-insulated apartment to one with old windows and poor heating. New windows were prohibitively expensive, and were not allowed by the building. We got indows for all rooms. It has made an amazing difference. The temperature is up by several degrees, and I can no longer tell in what direction the wind is blowing! You can clearly feel the difference if you put your hand next to a window without the insert and then to one with the insert. I think the indows provide just as much insulation as new windows. The do require set up, and opening the windows is no longer so easy, but it is worth it. They also require storage space, if you are going to take them off during the summer. We also bought the storage sleeves.”

“I wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the Green Mountain Zero Draft "Indow" storm windows. By removing the ugly and inefficient aluminum storm windows from the outside of our 1820 cape we restored the original look of the home. The "Indows" have greatly improved the warmth of the house this winter and reduced drafts. We are even more excited in how much it has reduced or almost eliminated the traffic noise on the country road which passes close to our home. The house is also cleaner as road dust no longer seeps in! Pierre, Thanks for your great service, professional measuring, and outstanding service. It was a pleasure dealing with you”

“We have single paned windows that allow heat and sun to come in at unbelievable levels. Our air conditioning system could not keep up despite my lowering the thermostat. Our condo association was very picky about us replacing the windows requiring us to replace them with look alikes so as to keep a consistent appearance in the community. Aside from the astronomical cost of window replacement, this demand for an appearance that would seem unchanged was almost impossible to meet. We found Indow Window at a fortuitous time and, for a fraction of the cost of window replacements, had them installed. Our condo is quiet and I can set the air conditioner at 77'F and be comfortable. The difference is remarkable. There was no fuss or mess and the installation was finished in a couple of hours. They are unnoticeable from either the inside or outside and do not interfere with the decor. There is a pale sky blue tint to the heat resistant window but the benefits greatly outweigh the slight color one sees. We got used to it within a few days and don't notice it anymore. I recommend them to anyone suffering with the heat, sun, and noise of Central Florida.”

“My Acoustic Grade Indow Windows greatly reduced the sound of my basement studio—now my neighbors don’t hear guitar and drums and I don’t hear their lawn mower when I’m recording music. I am also happy with the thermal insulation that keeps my studio more comfortable.”

“It was heart-breaking to even think about replacing the original, leaded-glass, wooden windows in our 1920s home—but it was even harder to justify the exorbitant heating oil costs not to mention the impact on the environment of so much wasted energy. When I discovered Indow Windows I realized I had found an elegant and affordable solution! The quiet and warmth was instantly noticeable—however the inserts were not! My friend bumped her head and hand into them, knowing the inserts were in the window but not able to see them. That’s how seamless the design is! I highly recommend this highly functional, innovative, reasonably priced and easy-to-use product. The customer service has also been incredible!”

“From start to finish Brian and John [local dealer] were friendly, reliable, professional and basically a god send in my mind. Indow Windows have transformed our house from feeling like we live in a screen porch (very drafty and being able to hear word for word each conversation and car go by on our busy street) to feeling like we live in a warm cozy library, seriously! The transformation has been a game changer and a very affordable way to get the benefits of double pane windows without the cost and construction.”

“When I returned home I was surprised because I did not think they had begun the installation, but it was already finished! It was so fast, and the Indow Windows have such an unobtrusive design that I did not even notice them. The drafts disappeared. I now enjoy the beautiful light without the chill and it comforts me to know that I am burning less fuel in my furnace.”
