“The tent arrived quickly. I'm still trying to put the tent up (only made a start inside, as too wet outside). Possibly the instructions could be clearer. The tent may be great, but I don't know yet. A list of all parts included would be useful, as it's not obvious if anything is missing when you don't know how many separate bits and pieces should be there. Once the fly/inner are attached, it would be helpful to have a diagram on how to fold them up to fit back inside the bag. Possibly this is available online but I haven't found it.”
Hi there, thanks for the review. The Indie 2 is not a freestanding tent so will be really hard to set it up inside. We're working on videos showing how to pitch the tents and should be done within the next month. Will list the contents on the site (should be 8 pegs, ropes are attached, the tent fly and inner). “Hi, the service and delivery of my lightweight 1 person tent was great.
The tent instructions got wet and fell apart on the 3rd time I erected it but I took a photo just before they disintegrated. The tent could not cope with wind but was surprisingly good in the rain (I only got wet once). Mostly, I would wrap my goretax raincoat around my down sleeping bag to protect it. There was not a great deal of distance between the inner mesh and the fly.
It looked really flappy from the second time I put it up. In Havelock, I purchased an extra rope a 2 extra pegs to make it more robust against the wind, which helped a little.
I'd put it up, it would look fine, then an hour later it would be flapping about and I'd have to readjust it all again which took some time.”
