Dublin, Cherbourg. It is becoming a habit of Putting their prices up every month or so (thieves). Customer service zero. Food , it is a canteen food and it is disgusting and pricey. (Bring your own food)

Everything and that was before the boat even turned up! Never travelled dublin holyhead route before! No staff in check in building! Woman at car check in implied I was stupid waiting outside closed building! Ferry really late! No instructions of where u check in! Complete disgrace and then an obnoxious rude staff member at check in not a gd start at all! I've travelled with irish ferries before and never been so insulted by staff! And after the boat was so late I would have thought staff would have atleast tried to be friendly. Never again will I or my family be using this ferry again 🤬

We booked the fast ferry from Holyhead to Dublin and were notified the day before about it not sailing due to inclement weather possibly. They immediately book you on the larger ferry at a later time. It did make us arrive very late at night after a long drive to Belfast but that is not the company’s fault. The experience from Dublin to Holyhead is farcical. OMG 😱 We waiting an hour or more to board in very long lines of cars. Eventually someone signals you to follow the preceding cars. Then you stop and wait for some individual to sent a truck through then another one. It is so badly coordinated. Finally we get on board and the cars are spaced badly. We had 4 adults in the car and only the driver could exit normally. We all climbed over into the driver’s seat to exit the car. The person loading you into a space should think about placements more!!! When it was time to leave we were the last area to exit. A ramp was lowered down for the first 6 cars then we were to follow BUT we needed space to move our car to the central aisle for us to enter the car. It was a complete farce. Management need to get an expert FEMALE to solve the problem of boarding and exiting. The ferry rides were very good, clean areas to sit, comfortable seating, pleasant staff.

What a dreadful experience from start to finish Holyhead to Dublin they made an absolute balls of the loading and unloading of the boat, I had cabin booked so priority boarding and unboarding, nah not with Irish ferries . Was hungry so went to food hall for bite to eat was given 2 slices of turkey that was as dry as a camels mouth with chips to be charged £17 for that delight then for to be woken an hour before docking to accommodate the cleaners 😡😡😡

They are an absolute cheating ferry company. Please AVOID, AVOID and AVOID. We as family paid double of the ticket to cross early but massively delayed and not offering even a partial refund. Reference: 30749859

No communication at all. We were late for check in and missed ferry. Spent four days TRYING to contact Irish Ferries about return journey. No answer to ANY of my over 14 calls, total time waisted on phone 5 hours, longest on hold in on call without answer 49 minutes. 5 emails sent to three email address no return email at all. Total money lost _ every penny. Could not change ticket online even though we tried

I had a problem with my booking and it was an absolute nightmare to resolve it. I have been given wrong phonenumbers, emails were continually not being replied to and after being on hold for hours most the staff didn't know what to do half the time... so, costumer service was so bad. On board they make very sure your trip is uncomfortable when you don't book a hut and you have to pay a fortune for absolutely everything..... Not happy at all about my experience, do not recommend.

Average experience. I changed my return date and got charged £40 for the pleasure plus the premium rate call. Should have been £20 according to the website. The day I changed it to was not full on the boat. It was pretty empty so no excuse for this. Also I had a veggie curry on the return crossing. Well it was runny curry sauce with a third of a pepper thrown in, which is strictly a fruit, so not even vegetable curry. Served with a smile though. Or was it a smirk. Also noted a group of people thieving drinks from the lorry drivers lounge, which went unchallenged by the staff. €3.75 for a coffee for honest passengers but free to those who have no scruples.
