“We had 2 nights in Verona in hotel touring which was in a perfect location right in the heart of Verona. Opera was great and our passes got us a free tour of the arena prior. This was followed by 2 nights at the Hotel Savoy Palace lake garda. Again great location. Transfers were great in a nice Mercedes Benz. Would recommend a longer duration if possible though to save cramming everything in.”

“We paked a lot into our 3 day break. A lovely day out at Lake Garda and a stupendous experience at the Arena watching Aida, along with some wondersul food in the local restaurants.”

“We had an excellent time with the minor wrinkles ironed out very quickly. A small suggestion would be to have a better understanding of what we could expect from our day with a driver. What hours was he available to us for example.”

“Hannah organised everything for a great trip, flights, transfers, hotel and excellent opera seats. Easyjet cancelled our flight out and their website failed to check us in but apart from that it was lovely. Hotel - Giuletta e Romeo was a beautiful hotel and so closeby the opera. The breakfasts were excellent. Platinum seats were more comfortable and sound better, but the Verdi seats had a better view. We found a good gluten-free restaurant "La Costa in Bra" in the main piazza.”

“We had a wonderful break in Lucca. It was very well arranged and the small family run hotel was excellent. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful with restaurant recommendations and events. Great seats at the Opera too. All in all a very successful weekend. Thank you”

“What a wonderful trip. Our collection and return to the airport went smoothly and on time. Our hotel, The Accademia in Verona, was welcoming and comfortable. We were impressed with our room and greatly appreciated the Prosecco awaiting us. We loved Verona and particularly enjoyed our two visits to the opera, despite getting drenched on our second visit. Our thanks to Italian Short Breaks for ensuring we had a memorable visit.”

“What a fabulous few days I have had in Verona. Travel arrangements were well organised and went very smoothly, the hotel was lovely and perfectly situated and the whole trip was a wonderful experience. “I planned a surprise special birthday trip for my wife to Verona and Lake Garda. Excellent support throughout from Hannah, who arranged the perfect trip with excellent hotels, the opera at the Verona arena and a trip to Isola del Larga. My wife and I were delighted as the trip lived up to and exceeded its billing. We will undoubtedly be back to book with Italian Short Breaks again.”

“Fantastic trip to see the Opera in Verona. The organisation was flawless and the Hotel Touring was a perfect location. It was a short walk to the arena and Piazza Erbe for all the wonderful sites. Enjoyed crossing the Ponte Pietra and taking the funicular for a wonderful view of Verona from the Castel. Highly recommend Italian short breaks and will use them again.”

“I certainly couldn't praise our Italian Short Break more. Everything went smoothly. The flights in and out of Gatwick and our Taxi pickup at Verona airport and also our pickup to take us from Hotel were all on time. Hotel Bologna was lovely and we were well looked after. Hotel location perfect - about 50meters from Amphitheatre. I shall certainly enjoy an Italian Break with you again. The Opera was spectacular. Thank you for all you did.”

“What a perfect holiday in Verona to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary! Hannah did a great job in arranging everything. The Hotel Accademia was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The icing on the cake was when we saw La Traviata at the Arena - a perfect evening. We also took full advantage of the 48-hour Verona Pass in exploring the city and much appreciated the personal transfers to and from the hotel. A brilliant, well organised holiday.”

“They organised a superb break for us, 3 days in Verona and four on Lake Garda. The organisation was brilliant, private car transfers exactly on time, good hotel choices and superb Opera seats, We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them”

“We have just returned from a two centre holiday in Verona and Lake Garda, with a night at the Opera which was amazing. Everything went well, the pick ups and transfers were seamless. Although the traffic around Lake Garda was very heavy, and the drivers told us it always is through the summer so you might need to allow more time for the Lake Garda to Verona airport return trip. Both hotels were very nice. The Bologna in Verona small rooms but very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. Staff very pleasant and helpful, and marvelous central location. The Villa Capri was set in a very glamorous location on the shores of Lake Garda, lovely room wit fabulous view. No kettle in room unfortunately and no evening restaurant, just snacks, which was a shame as it was a good walk to Gardone, however plenty of restaurants there. Also it was worth a walk up to the old town. We also found the Verona card very handy. It encouraged us to look around the sites, although a map would have been handy. All in all very pleased by the holiday.”

“Everything perfect. All as described. Opera seats WERE the best in the house. Hotel and staff very efficient and friendly. Taxi company prompt and drove well. Only drawback was the extremely early flight out. Wouldn't do that again!”
