“I purchased two bottles of Milton Lloyd America Night and what I was sent was expired. The manufacture date on the boxes and bottles is 25/09/18 and the expiration date is 25/09/23. I approached their “customer service” and would like to share the whole conversation with you…

I received this order today and I’m really disappointed that you sent expired perfume.
According to the bottles it was manufactured in Sept 2018, some 5 1/2 years ago, and expired in Sept 2023. Well past its best.
What can you do help?
Thanks.

Hi, Our shipment of this was only delivered in the last week so we really believe that this is not the case. It is extremely unlikely that any supplier or manufactuter would send expired stock and we do not hold large enough quantities for our own stock to expire, we have not even been in business for this length of time.
Thankyou

Well I’m sorry, you are mistaken. It would have been far better service if you had apologised and looked into it first, rather than suggesting I’m being untruthful. Please see attached photos. You may wish to check the rest of your stock of this item.
I look forward to hearing back!
Yours faithfully,

Did you look at the photos? You’re either in denial or dishonest. I’m about to post reviews all over the place. Last chance.

Yes, we looked at the photos. But they can not be the stock that we sent you as none of our stock is out of date. As we said the delivery was only made in the past week. They are very clearly old bottles and not the stock that we sent.
It is very unfortunate that people feel the need to be dishonest in order to try and get things for nothing.
We were not even in business this long ago and our stock rotates very quickly.
We feel for you that you must be struggling making such false claims but there is nothing wrong with the stock we provide.

Wow. I’m speechless. Have it your way. It’s a real shame that you’ve treated a new customer this way. I buy lots of Milton Lloyd and you could have become my new supplier. If you were to simply look at the rest of your stock of this specific item you would see that everything I’ve said is the truth, but you won’t even look at your stock and have rather told me that I’m a liar trying to scam you! Unbelievable. With this attitude and level of service you will not be in business long I’m sure. What a shame on you.

We would appreciate you to cease contacting us.
We mentioned that none of our stock is out of date/ expired. We check it upon arrival into the warehouse to be on the side of caution, so the stock has been checked and was checked before it was sent to you. The images you provided is not stock purchased from ourselves.
We hope you find yourself out of your troubles soon.
