Really disappointing we have order 5 packs of teguila harvest paving blocks we paid for it and we been told will be 5 to 7 working days for delivery, we get it after 14 days and we get only 4 packs and 106 blocks not enough for the area of driveway we need it 55 msq ( 5 packs ) their explanation its that they mistake in calculations and ask us to pay extra to get the amount we need Really ridiculous after they let us down on delivery time now force us to pay their mistake and we cannot finish the job. This its jewsons

I can only speak about the Romford branch but great bunch, always helpful and the delivery driver is very helpful.

A Ukrainian family says a huge thank you to Bury and Rochdale depots of Jewson for the help and donations to help us with settling in due to fleeing from the war. Especially we are so thankful to Paul and Andy and Paul's wife Karen (the card painted so nice, brought us to tears), thanks to all the team in Rochdale! Thanks to all the team in Bury, especially our nice Janine who made us feel at home here and helps us with so many things! We are really so grateful for everything you do for us!

I ordered 4 grange overlap fence panels as our old ones blew down in the strong winds. They arrived on my specified delivery date. Good quality and easy to fit using metal clips to wooden fence posts. Very happy, just need to paint them to match the rest of my fence.

I asked for and was told that my delivery would be in the morning. It eventually arrived ar 1405hrs. I am a single woman in my 60's & a male friend was willing to help with delivery in the morning but had to go to work at 1230hrs. I was left with a significant number of full sized plywood sheet & plasterboard to move from kerbside into my house alone. Fortunately neighbour was able to help at short notice. Appears company knew early in day delivery was to be late but due to 'understaffing' didn't advise me until I called them twice (1145hrs & 1345hrs) & driver phoned me 10mt before arrival. There was nothing else on his lorry so presumably no more deliveries after mine, although I should have been in the morning. Sorry but no more business from me.

If I could score zero I would. I visited the Loughborough branch recently. Whilst paying for my goods there was a problem with the card terminal. The assistant had to use another terminal to complete the transaction. I was assured I had not been charged the first time around. Later, when I checked, I had been. Very poor service and no indication of when I can expect a refund. Significantly out of pocket.

2 weeks for a refund and no sign of my money , a total disgrace when it comes to customer service , pass the buck , a standard email we have made a mistake you need to wait another 5 days for your refund, sort out your internal issues and give your staff some training I would never buy from them agajn

Charge early double for mortar on click and collect. When I turned up and realised I asked for refund but said he couldn’t do it. I could have purchased it at counter for half the Kay. And they’d let people in without masks. Left me to pick up my own mortar. Woman I mid 60s.

Fence panels arrived, one is broken and the sizing is misleading. They are advertised as 1.8m (which is what I wanted) but it’s not until you read deeper into the the specification you see it’s nearly 1.83mm. I managed to get one fence panel to fit, now I’m stuck with the second one which is approximately 3cm too big. Finally, order should have arrived in one go, I was told in the email if this wasn’t possible I would be contacted. Instead, I wasn’t contacted and my order arrived over two days.

Went to a local builders merchants to hire cement mixer - Jewsons Chester. NEVER AGAIN. Quoted one price and then when I took it back the price taken out of my deposit was double. When I question it Alex ( the tool hire assistant) said the computer tells him the price and does the invoice. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he wasn’t in at the moment and would call me back. Had to physically go back into the shop, as I waited several hours for a phone call that never came. Steven ( manager) said the computer had overcharged me by a day. He did apologise but , it was still not right. Still waiting for a receipt. Very distressing. AVOID using them at all costs.

Having complained to the store and then escalated, the investigation they conducted appears to be little more than asking the staff member concerned if they feel he acted appropriately and then closing the complaint with out offering any evidence. I would really appreciate it if anyone else has received this type of service if they could let me know or publishes the issue to see if this is isolated or an ongoing incident. You might not have realised what was the underling reason behind your negative experience!

Over a month ago I requested a quote from a local Jewson’s. The kitchen person was polite and responded quickly to my telephone enquiry. Claimed they could easily meet my brief. However, once visiting my home and seeing me (I’m of Indian ethnicity) everything went badly from that point onwards and they did everything possible to put me off doing business with them. The quote took over a month to return, the specs were all wrong (after repeated requests, to which my specs never changed once), I was ignored and then pretty much called a liar when challenged them. Although I’m pretty thick skinned, I found the whole experience distressing, especially because this person came into my home and myself and my family was pretty much being told, we don’t want your business

Hired a scaffold tower from Chipping Norton and received great service. Craig was there when he said he would be, arranged my hire and unloading on return very efficiently, The tower was in good order and easy to assemble. Thanks for great service.

DK18 VYX blocking access to my road to get home, had to wait half an hour for them to unload, no gesture of thanks at all only a rude wave for our waiting cars to move back. Do you not teach your employees or drivers to approach the world with courtesy?

Avoid these people at all costs, they give you a price, take 3 x the deposit and then add on extras. Website says free delivery over £50, this again is not true. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Customer Services is shocking

If I could give this shower of s*** company a ZERO I would!!! Phoned the local depot, because their website wasn't working, surprise surprise, told them exactly what I needed, "yes sir, we have all that, just come down". Drove all the way there, explained to the useless numb skull on the desk my phone conversation. "nope, we ain't got none of that stuff" was the reply! Why the hell tell me you have it, make me drive 20 minutes down there and then tell me you haven't got it when I arrive?!? AVOID THESE OVERPRICED PLANKS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Called several companies locally asking costs and terms for a mixer rental. Mr Tuting gave me ONE price, and to close the deal, agreed to extend it for a weekend. Good deal on the sound of it. He quoted two days hire dropoff and collect fri mon. I was concerned with late call back to take deposit, and Mr Tuting taking two payments on the card, thats £300 taken in error, but by this time it was too late to find an alternative, so I paid dep cash. . Mixer dirty, late delivery, collection on tue, poor communication, but I got to do what i needed so these things are not life changing. My intention, get my deposit balance and never use again. So go to get my deposit back and bang, the costs has changed. Vat was added, and an additional cost for transformer.which increased the cost by 32%. 1) He presumed i would factor VAT, because Jewson is, well Jewson. It was clear at quote i was a private. Okay VAT has to be paid, but private sales ALWAYS has vat already added at quotation, or mentioned. Or at least a professional would say.... 2) NO breakdown of costs on the invoice, just a total amount and less money. When requested breakdown thats when Mr Tuting and manager became uncooperative and rude. 3) bad service from beginning to end is one thing, but wow i been swindled. And just in case your reading this Mr Tuting, I can recommend 2 companies local to your branch that rents mixers, WITH the transformer cost included. Jewson I am going to tell as many people as possible about the bad service as my way of compensation, as your manager would not even discuss discrepancies. Do not be taken in by fast talking rental reps too busy to be professional, and definitely stay away from Jewson Haringey as even the manager has no interest in listening to grievances.

rip of merchants, don't deal with a customer issue they threaten you instead. overcharged on jobs queries these one branch refund us but still waiting on the others I am talking 4 years of buying stuff from Jewsons if I was you I would check your terms.
