Why have an online service in the first place if your patrons clearly wouldn't be able to view (it would make no financial sense to do so when time and fuel travel costs considered). ”

“ I’ve been using them for around 5 years. Yes they do sell stuff that is broken, incomplete and just doesn’t work. I’ve had my fingers burnt a few times taking a gamble on an item that went straight in the bin. However, mostly I’ve bought items for personal use and re-sale at rock bottom prices which were great. I suppose you have to go through the process and experience until you instinctively know what’s going to be good and what to avoid like the plague. My only real concern is they use an auction sniper of some kind so if an item hasn’t reached some kind of hidden reserve they will bid it up in the last seconds so you don’t get it ultra cheap. Why not just be transparent and out a visible reserve on the things. Latest bulk item is Amazon fire tablets, which they are constantly bidding up last minute. That’s not an entirely fair and transparent auction, but otherwise, now my eyes are fully open, it’s a good service ”
