Fazit: absolute Kaufempfehlung!”
“I always knew I wanted to use reusable diapers with my child - a homage of sorts to the wholesome living environment my parents passed onto me. But many things have changed since the 80s, and consumerism and excess of information is now a wave of overwhelming addiction. It can be hard to sift through the bullshit. But on one such sift through social media I stumbled upon Judes…and I don’t believe I ever looked at anything else.
It was instant connectivity. Answers to anything and everything I might think to ask. Everything from the flexibility of the packages, to the modern lively tone in marketing, to the durable chic quality of the product, has been nothing short of ideal. Our daughter is now almost 11 weeks old, and I cannot remember time before diapers, before Judes. It has meshed seamlessly with our lifestyle.
I am forever grateful you waltzed into our lives.
Greetings from Finland!

“I have been using various types of cloth diapers since July 2024 with my third son. He has been a heavy wetter since birth and I was constantly searching for the best solution for him. My priorities were/are high absorbance, comfort, small bum with the diaper, no adjust buttons to harm his legs.
Our best solution for him was inner-outer diaper combination but it wasn't guarateed to make a small comfortable bum for him to be able to move freely.
At first I was very skeptical when your diaper came along in a Facebook ad but I thought I would give it a shot. I did not think that such thin cotton inner diaper can hold so much pee for more than an hour. I was very suprised to see that your inner-outer diaper combination gives him at least 5 hours of support. He did not complain once about discomfort and I can see him move as easy as in disposables.
At the moment I don't have any questions I just wanted to share how happy and delighted I am to have found Judes cloth diapers.”
Hey,
Thank you for your feedback! We're so happy that Judes offers the right solution for you and that you're part of the Judes family!
Best regards,
Lena
“Diapers are great; they don't ever leak. But sadly my son gets a horrible rash at the waistband no matter how often I change or how tightly or loosely I put the nappy on. One other thing; the sutures holding velcro have broken, so it's slowly coming appart. I wish they were made to last, because investing upwards of 300€ for diapers isn't that little if they don't last even 2 months.”
Hey Veronika,
Thanks for your review.
We're sorry your son is getting a rash.
Diaper rash is caused by improper washing for most customers. Therefore, it's very important that we do everything right here.
We'd like to give you a few tips on this.
Please also contact us regarding the torn seams. This isn't what should have happened, of course, and we'd be happy to replace the affected diapers.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Lena
“I’ve been using their diapers and poo paper for my baby for about 6 months now, my experience has been extremely positive. The diapers are well made and very easy to use. I’ve recently purchased the changing mat and detergent, will be looking forward in using them.”
“Highly recommend the Judes diapers! My baby has had no rash ever; the fabric is very breathable and soft. I use a washer-dryer so I just pop in the diapers every other day and take them out super clean and ready to use. It's as simple as that.”
“When our baby was born, we tried different brands and systems of reusable diapers, as well as disposable ones. We liked Judes the best - not too bulky, minimal leaks and no blowouts, relatively short drying time. They just.. work! We found ourselves reaching for them time and time again, over any others. The price is also good for what you get (it was important to us to have organic cotton on our baby's butt, from an EU company). That's when we knew we should buy a full set. We were then also quite pleased with the consultation system, where Juana really made us feel guided and helped. Thank you, Judes Family! And good job:)”
“We love Jude's. It honestly makes cloth diapers so easy - just as easy as disposable diapers in our opinion. We've recently made a temporary switch to disposable diapers for 2 weeks due to the rotavirus vaccine, and honestly miss the cloth diapers.
We would recommend these to anyone.”
“All in all, the diapers stay pretty dry, especially if you fold the cuffs inward. However, then you have the problem that sometimes the stool, if there's a lot, still sticks despite the Poo Paper. When my son urinates heavily and then lies on his stomach for a longer period, everything starts to soak through after a short time (less than an hour). I only use boosters for nap time, not for every diaper change. My son also recently developed diaper dermatitis despite a short changing interval (2 hours) (urine on the skin ultimately irritates, especially when stool is added), and he never had any issues before and generally has rather insensitive skin. I think the idea of sustainable diapering is fundamentally good, but I wouldn’t buy cloth diapers again, as there are too many compromises for the high price. Additionally, I find it hard to understand the numerous advertising promises that are made.”
Hey,
Thank you for your honest feedback! This helps us tremendously to keep improving Judes and thus convince even more parents about sustainable diapering.
I am very sorry that you have had such difficulties with Judes so far. Of course, it shouldn't be like this. I am sure that we will be able to resolve the problems quickly. A rash that first appeared with cloth diapers, for example, indicates a mistake in washing and storing the used diapers and can easily be fixed. We would also like to take a closer look at the issue of leakage with you. Just get in touch with our diaper coaching team or send us an email to hi@judesfamily.com .
I am sure that we will find a solution so that you will soon be able to use Judes without any problems.
I can understand that Judes is an investment that involves high costs all at once. I would like to briefly explain why: as with all products, you can also buy diapers at a lower price. The only question is: Where do they come from? Under what conditions were they produced? How healthy are the materials for the baby? What are the follow-up costs for future generations?
We decided to work with Judes to develop a diaper in which we can answer all these questions with a clear conscience. To this end, we have developed a cloth diapers that is really easy to use and works well.
We have also decided in favour of another aspect: That we would not compromise on manufacturing costs. In other words: the decisive factor for us is not the price, but the quality!
By the way: A T-shirt uses a similar amount of fabric as a cloth diaper from Judes. Would you be surprised that a T-shirt made from organic cotton costs 20€? You'd probably be more surprised that it's so cheap, wouldn't you? I can imagine that the price surprises you because you are comparing Judes with other cloth diapers. But these usually use much less fabric, a different weave and are not made from organic cotton. However, these factors are key to Judes working so well and being so much thinner than other cloth nappies. I hope this helps you to understand how to categorise our prices. 🙂
By the way: You still spend more money with disposable diapers! Want to know why? Feel free to read the articles we've published on our blog.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards,
Juana
Hey Julia,
Thank you for your feedback!
The fact that your fabric is slightly harder may be due to your water hardness. The following tips can help you to get softer inner diapers again:
Using the dryer will keep/get the diapers super soft. However, if you don't (always) want to use it, there are various alternatives that you can try out to keep the inner diapers and boosters cosy and soft:
1. kneading: to do this, knead the diapers vigorously once after drying. This will make them soft again.
2. descaling agent: if you have very calcareous water, it can also help to use descaling powder, such as that from Denkmit (DM). You can adjust this to your individual requirements.
Have a look at what works best for you and keep us posted. If you have any further questions, you can contact us at any time!
Best regards,
Juana
“Great product! We are very happy we decided to try Judes. All the details make Judes so easy to use and it never disappointed. I would recommend everyone who wants to use cloth diapers.”
“I had a great experience with Judes. I bought for my niece the set 1, but she was not able to use them. Judes then kindly offered to replace them with the set 2 with no cost. In addition they helped us through the difficult process of sending packages to and from UK. To be honest I have never had such a good customer experience as with Judes. And now my niece is happily using the set 2 😍”
“After doing some research on cloth diapers we decided to go with Judes and we are so happy with our choice! They have been absolutely amazing to use. Super easy to get the diapers on and off and they don't leak, even with a newborn that was slightly below average weight we have had no problems. Another great thing is the washbag. We have this hanging on our changing table to make it super easy to put the dirty diapers away and not touch them again. You just zip it open and put it in the washing machine are you done. Even tough it can be a big upfront cost, we would highly recommend Judes as it's totally worth it!”
“I've used a lot of different brands of cloth diapers over the years and I have to say, the hype is real. I really love them, they don't leak and the customer service is really good.”
