“i find it hard to put in words just how poor the service is from this company
my very close friend made a will with a solicitor from this practice in 2011 it was written so badly they could not get probate so it cost the people mentioned in the will £6000 to get the fee earner to agree to be passed over and 18 months in time due to the fact that the solicitor would not engage in any kind of media be it emails. letters .phone calls(nothing) and only agreed to be passed over just before a court case!! but he still paid himself £1600 in fees for getting everything wrong the man is still working for Reilly & co but due to policy i can not name him kevin reilly(keep clear of this firm).”

Two years ago my Uncle died and unfortunately had lodged his will at this firm and named Kevin Reilly as executor. Despite emails, letters, phone calls etc Mr Reilly evades communication and is rude and arrogant. He has to date been unable to obtain probate as his mis-worded the will, it took him over 12 months to inform the beneficiaries of the death and has completely failed to execute his duties. He has not taken an inventory, has allowed his fellow executor to empty the property without informing the other beneficiaries who were entitled to the goods and chattels. He has not obtained bank statements to assess the value of the estate and has in fact stated he has no intention of doing so. He has blocked my email address and refuses to answer any communication from any parties involved. This continues to be a very upsetting situation, my only option is to go through the court to have him removed which is very costly. Avoid this man at all costs he”

“Recently had to deal with this firm after the death of a close friend. An extremely stressful time was made much worse by the way in which this company behaved during the administration of the estate. Lack of communication, rude and aggressive when I did manage to make contact and dereliction of their duty as Executors means that myself and the family are still waiting for this matter to be settled after 3 years. Incompetent and unprofessional, the whole episode has been very distressing.”

“This company is a joke. They are very unprofessional and a disgrace to the profession. What was a very upsetting time was made more distressful by not complying with the will. It has taken 3 yrs and another solicitors to complete the task which was paid for by my late uncle and a further £6000 to do the work that they should have done.”
