“I had a very bad experience with this company. I was interviewing with them for a dissertation supervisor role, and I got the position. I sent reference letters, and my degree certificate. Then they sent me tons of training, and asked me to grade their assignments systematically in 1 week (I applied for dissertation supervisor), and asked me to pass this as an exam. I used so many hours for 2 weeks and did not pass the exam, since I am not an expert with their grading system.
I have never seen such a weird and indecent recruiting method, and I will never recommend this company to students.”
“Paid for my Management Level CIMA courses with Kaplan. They provided the three objective tests but when I asked for them they refused to provide case study resources I paid for denying I'd bought them. When I dug out and emailed them a receipt they have simply not replied to me email for the last month forcing me to pay again for study resources (from a different provider, Viva Tuition, who are cheaper anyway - not started with them yet so can't say if I'd recommend them or not). Completely unacceptable record keeping and customer service from Kaplan.”

“I was on Kaplans apprenticeship scheme studying AAT L3, by was, they took the final payment and stopped the apprenticeship without any correspondence. I have tried to get them to help me rectify an error (since April, now August) with my end point assessment but due to them removing me as a student, they have left my in an administrational nightmare where I cannot complete my apprenticeship and receive the completion certificate despite completing all the requisite criteria.
I would strongly advise you to avoid Kaplan all together, their study materials are great but almost everything else lets them down completely.”

“Kaplan are terrible, they only care about money. They have double standards. For them it's fine to do anything but if you make one mistake, they charge you money. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option.”
“After researching accountancy courses i found a number of training providers who offered the online e-learning course, I tried the 5 day trial with Kaplan. After this it seemed similar to the other providers so i asked for a quote.
I would not recommend Kaplan, simply due to cost of the course which was the foundation level 2 which most people start from. i got a quote for £1397 (not including exams or AAT registration), comparing this to other training providers with offer the same style of online course, it's double the price!??
I checked out training-link, get.e-careers, ICS and learn direct which seem to be the most popular (on a google search anyway) all of these offered the same books/e-learning/mock exams/tests/121 chat that Kaplan do but are only charging between £525 and £700, maybe even less if they are having a sale.
Left very disappointed, i hope everyone else who is considering doing accounting courses does there research.”

AWFUL experience with Kaplan. Never had a more stressful time since doing my apprenticeship. DO NOT STUDY with Kaplan. All they cause is stress, anger and upset. They are not helpful at all. If I could give no stars I would. They have caused me so much stress and still do not care. This has really put me off finishing this apprenticeship. After a year of several mistakes on their end I have had enough. It is not fair. All they care about is taking money.”

I have never been so annoyed with a company in my life. I booked an independent exam through Kaplan for the AAT Professional Diploma in accountancy on 9th September 2020. It was booked in at 2 o’clock using their Kaplan website. Upon booking, their site immediately sent me an email stating:
“Thank you for your order, payment has been taken for the following:” & “Date(s): 06/10/2020 02:00 PM”
So, they took payment, booked me in. Then on the day of the exam they quite literally wrote to me at *9:32* to say your exam starts at 9:00. This was the first I had heard of an exam time change.
I rang up Kaplan after receiving that email at 10am and the lady on the phone said we wanted to contact you before, but we didn’t have a number for you. Now correct if I’m wrong didn’t they have an email for me. Yes of course they did. I was told 3 lies other than this too but I won’t go into that here.
Bear in mind I’ve taken two days off work for study time, and the exam and have quite literally driven myself into the ground for over a month studying non-stop. This information doesn’t just stay in your head, I’m going to have to restudy all this again for the next two weeks for whenever it can be rescheduled. I am also going to have to take more holiday from work to restudy and for the exam date too.
No apology was given on phone she just didn’t care. This company literally doesn’t give a dam about you.
It was the absolutely disgusting non caring attitude shown by this company that really got to me. Kaplans is just shocking!
We are going to investigate legal action against Kaplan as this is not acceptable behavior. Everything we have is as clear as day in writing, from the holiday I took to shambolic changing my exam time after the actual start time.
I advise anybody NOT to book with them.”

Appaling quality. Apart from quick invoicing. Website is a mess. Books - waste of paper. Tutors - teaching skills is gift... Mine was without the "gift". When I asked if she could explain more, tutor just repeated herself again...
I am just wondering who are those people spreading good word about kaplan? - staff? EVERY single thing - website or classes, or books - needs immediate cancellation and correction.
Kaplan, please leave the market.”
