“Purchased and fitted shower two years ago, with 5 year guarantee. Now has faulty thermostat which needs replacing. I contacted customer service who told me not covered as 12 month guarantee on moving parts. Deceitful guarantee. Would recommend paying a bit extra and get quality materials. Won’t be using this company again.”
“Had a shower enclosure fitted. Lifetime guarantee. The wheels at the bottom of the doors were jammed solid in under a year. Had to buy replacements (£19.20), as Plumbase say "not covered - moving parts". emailed Kartell, and heard nothing back. Fully expect to replace them every year, or more frequently, as they are a really cheap piece of foiled alloy, which blisters and seizes completely. Buy better quality than this.”
