BEWARE! !! I purchased a Kia Sportage two years ago with an extended warranty, It has been well maintained with records. All of a sudden it started shaking so I took it to a mechanic and it needs a new motor. He said that it probably had this problem when I bought it. I am still making payments on this vehicle. My daughter purchased a Nissan Altima from there a few months later after I purchased mine. Four months after she bought it the transmission went out, and she is still making payments. So we both have vehicles that can't be driven and still making payments on. The transmission is $5,000 and the motor is $6,500. My daughter lost her job because of the lack of transportation and I have to rely on other people to take me back and forth to work. So if you want reliable transportation then do not purchase anything from Keffer Kia Mooresville.

We had traded a K5 in for a new Seltos. When we were signing the finance papers we were told we would be getting a refund from the gap and extended warranty from the K5 this was in may 2024 we never received the refund and every time I call to talk to someone they always tell me their going to call me back. It has been 4 months now and where did our refund go? I would imagine in someone’s pocket because it sure isn’t in mine! Do not trust these people!!!!!!!!

This all started on May 23, 2024. I went down to Keffer Kia in Mooresville NC. to look for a new car and trade in my 2017 dodge ram. Alex, the sales person greeted me at the door to help me find a car. I was not in a rush to buy a car. I told them several times but anyway I found the car I liked, but then he told me about a different one that was in the back we went looking for it, but actually got sent out to get the windows tinted. We went back in. to do paperwork and I told him I would like to go through my bank teachers federal credit union. He went up to the sales counter, said that he called that they called my bank and show me the rate that they gave me what the monthly payment would be I couldn’t believe that it was that high but I was like OK so we finalize the deal the next day on May 24 I had called my bank to see if Anyone called and inquired about giving me a rate my bank who keeps records of everything, said that they never got any calls regarding a car loan from Keffer. Next night I went back to the car dealer to let them know that nobody had inquired about me with my bank. They just called as a random customer and my bank, and they gave them a so-called rate and price. I was very upset that they lied. I told them I didn’t want the car anymore. They could take the car back.Then Min The customer service manager came over to me and said is what we’re gonna do for you. We’re gonna give you $55 for four months. it was a holiday weekend so I couldn’t come back till Tuesday to pick up the check. I thought everything was OK then now today June 3 I came home and saw I had a letter in the mail from my bank teachers federal credit union that I was late on the payment as per the finance manager he asked why my payment was due. I told him was due that day the 23rd and he said don’t pay it we’re gonna pay the car off for you. I said OK then finding out today.Keffer Kia Did not send a check out as to my banks knowledge because my bank did not receive any payment I called Chia at 2:10 on June 3 and receptionist said she was going to pass through to the finance department. I was on hold for 19 minutes I hung up. I called back at 2:22 PM. Spoke to a different receptionist. I told him my story from the beginning that started with Alex and up until now and I said the girl sent me over to the finance department and nobody answered so I hung up to call back and the second reception said well she should’ve sent you that you need to talk to Casey. She pays me through theCasey There was no answer. I left a message. I called back at 2:25. I told the receptionist that case he did not answer and this is ridiculous. She paged or found somebody . The person got on the phone he said his first name was Jonathan. I told him what happened and everything else. This is at 3:32 PM. It is now 431 that I am writing this letter to let you know nobody has called me back and I asked the gentleman’s name so your name is Jonathan because John like he didn’t want to give me his name again so I don’t know what kind of game Keffer Kia is playing but it’s my credit and I don’t think it’s right that you trust them and they don’t take care of you they could take this car back. I just want my car back and I’ll move on to keep my bank that I’ve had and I’ll pay whatever fees and fines I have to do to get in good standing again with my bank teachers federal credit union I would not recommend buying a car or anything from Keffer Kia. ◦

Numerous times car was returned without fixing problems. They love to create image they are going above and beyond but doing bare minimum and try to distract from truth.

KEFFER KIA, MOORESVILLE, NC, THE BEST DEALERSHIP EVER FOR SALES AND SERVICE. THE SERVICE STAFF IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I SEARCHED TO FIND PERFORMANCE TIRES FOR MY CAR AND FOUND THE BEST PRICE AT KEFFER KIA. THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF WHO MADE GETTING MY CAR FIXED EASY AND STRESS FREE.
