Making contact through your pages chat window is time consuming having to write your email address all the time. HOWEVER... excellent product. “It’s hard to get excited about firewood, isn’t it? But a company and their customer support? Well, that’s much easier. Our experiences with Kindwood so far have been top notch. I was worried that I might be barking up the wrong tree when ordering hardwood bits for a pizza oven but - without blowing smoke up their proverbials - we’ve been de-lighted. The wood burns beautifully and our very first attempts at pizza have been surprisingly edible.”

“Very disappointed. About 20% to 30% of the wood has paint on it. Given that it was specifically advertised on your website as suitable for a small pizza oven I do not find this satisfactory for cooking food.”
Really sorry that you have been disappointed! We would not sell a product if it's unsafe to use, the water based paint is from the sawmill where we used to get the waste wood from. We can totally understand though not wanting to use it to cook with. We have dealt with the staff who made the mistake of packing the oak kindling, as even though the pieces are safe to use, we don't put them in due to the fact people think they're unsafe. We have since discontinued the use of this oak kindling and changed our supply. I shall email you to resolve the problem.

“Not the cheapest but for good reason. Good product. Like the environmental angle. Prompt and helpful courier. Only suggestion, given effort taken to provide environmentally friendly packaging, would be to not wrap pallets in sheet plastic.”
“So disappointed in your logs as currently just charring and smoking thick black smoke in our firepit . More smoke than the cheapest high moisture logs Have had to add an artificial log to get any sort of flame

“Great company and 5 stars for being so eco friendly. We had some delays on our order, mainly due to Covid affecting supplies but Kindwood kept us informed. I will say that strangely one of our crates of wood burnt much better than the other - not sure if maybe one got a little damp? But loving the crates and the hessian sacks and will be ordering more!”
