I’ve been using Kwik Fit Surbiton for many years for my MOT (10-year-old car) Reception is a welcoming area and always, in my experience, attended by someone very pleasant and efficient. The inspection bays are always busy and the same staff seem to have been working there for years, so something must be working well. Generally, they are very good at timekeeping and if they say come back in an hour then the work will have been done. Very happy with the service I receive and I shall continue to use them as is necessary to have my car service and MOT. Easy to book MOT online and they offer a discounted price

Had 2 new front tyres fitted to our car at the Newark branch. Very pleased with the price and the staff were very efficient and courteous.

Phoned up to have my car MOT’d at Dundee Strathmartine branch. Very polite young man on telephone and I was given a quick appointment the same day. Same polite, respectful young man in reception took delivery of my car. Car promptly put through its MOT with no problems. Very happy with the whole experience. Got 50th anniversary special price of £19.71 which was awesome value! Will definitely go back there again.

Refunds - Difficult

Booked a same day mobile tyre fitting. Took my booking, time slot & money. Booking confirmation received. An hour later a phone call received to say they couldn’t do it today and it would be a two day wait before they could proceed. Refund would take 3-5 days. Why take the booking if you can’t do it. Dishonest. Now stranded.

He then tells me that I can't have a refund today because I had paid on-line, and that the employee who deals with refunds wasn't in.

I have only given 1 star as can't give a minus ! Car booked in for service and MOT for 10 weeks - paid upfront. Arrived at the centre to be told "we don't do an MOT on a MONDAY". I could go into all the ins and outs of the conversation that followed but I wont bore you all. Suffice to say, they lied about trying to contact me, their customer complaints email seems to disappear into the great beyond and their refund policy is a very unfunny joke - took my cash 10 weeks before my appointment but apparently I have to wait a minimum of 10 days to get a refund !! CLOWNS - BUT KILLER ONES !!

Great service today at Ilkley branch, particularly from manager Mathew. I've never been inspired to write a review before but 2 new tyres were well priced and a repair on another tyre was done FOC. Above and beyond.

Can't thank these guys enough at Colwyn Bay Branch. Called in today unsure about my front tyre had a puncture in it. Dewi 👏 did it there n then very prompt. Always reliable professional service at this garage.
