“La-Date surprised me in a good way! I didn’t expect to stick around long, but here I am a couple months in and still enjoying the chats. The platform feels way more active than others I’ve tried. You send a message, and people actually reply not after a week, but like, same day. Sometimes even right away. It’s been refreshing to have real conversations with women who are thoughtful, funny, and actually seem interested. The credit system took a little getting used to, but once I figured out how to pace myself and not click on every single thing, it became manageable. I don’t mind paying if the interaction feels genuine and most of the ones I’ve had really did. It’s not just “hi” and ghosting like on free apps. Some of the letters I’ve gotten felt like someone really took time to write them. Support’s been helpful too. I had one small glitch with a photo not loading, and they fixed it fast after I messaged. So overall, from communication to service, I’d say it’s been a solid experience. Now the only thing that’s missing and it’s a big one for me is a proper iPhone app. Using the site on mobile Safari works, but it’s not ideal. Feels a bit clunky, especially when you’re trying to reply quickly. If they ever launch a real app, that’s a game changer I’d give 5 stars without hesitation”
