“Timely service with great products. My last pens came in pretty silver boxes so I was a bit sad this one (and the other two I ordered with it) didn't have the nice boxes. I like using them to store other items in.
Pen works well like every other Lamy I own, which is one of the things I like about the brand. I've had minimal issues over the last 10 years which keeps me coming back.”
“The pens are astoundingly good, however, be warned, check your personalisation info and which pens it pertains to. I personalised one for my mate with his initials, but bought myself my first fountain in the same order, and they personalised both with his initials. It is annoying for me, but he bought the second pen off me, so I’m not down, I just have to wait for postage for my pen now, which is annoying.”
“The Lamy pens and ink are great and this latest purchase is no different. If you’re purchasing a non metal pen, skip paying extra for the engraving though. Total waste of money because it can’t be seen due to lack of contrast. Whoever did the engraving should have used a waxed contrast crayon to make the engraving pop. Pretty disappointing.”
“Very ergonomic design feels great to hold and use. Flows freely on paper although I’m left handed and usually have issues with pens.
Only thing I don’t appreciate is the fact there’ are 2 joint lines alongside the body of the pen that are not very nice to look at and feel awful. They gather dirt and dust”
“Just fitted the new fine nib to my Lamy Safary fountain pen. Absolute pleasure to use now as I found the medium a bit wide. Rapid delivery and very happy!”
“Not what I expected. Very nice ink, but not as ‘smooth’ as the black ink - I can feel more nib scrape. Also, it’s not turquoise. It’s best to describe this colour as a light blue. There is no green tinge to it. Other than these two very minor things, still a lovely ink, as you always get with Lamy.”
