Installed effortlessly in my AN515-54-54W2 with just a hint of slack, which actually made installation easier. The double-sided tape on the cable made sure everything stayed in place as well. A perfect replacement for those of us that ASUS screwed and didn't include the original in the box.

This is actually the second order from laptop frog I placed for this fan. So it starts off, my laptop eventually starts sounding like a jet engine. Not because of the fan speed, but because of how broken the fan was. Initially, I thought only one of the fans was going out because PredatorSense consistently showed one at max speed (6122 rpm). So I placed an order for this fan and some thermal paste, Arctic MX-4. The swap went perfect. The computer noise went down, cooling temps were in the 70s while gaming. I should have been prepared for what happened next. Almost 2 weeks go by, and the jet engine noise is back again. This time, PredatorSense is showing the other fan slow and stuttering, and the new replaced fan at max RPM. I'm so mad I didn't just replace them both while I had it apart. To finish my review, I recommend replacing both fans if you are going to be getting in there to replace one. The whole project each time took me about 25-30 mins, just because I was being really cautious. Lastly, don't be cheap. Do not try and swap the fan without taking off the heatsink, cleaning the old thermal paste, and applying new. Chances are you won't be able to get the fan out without unsetting the heat sink anyways. Hope this helps.

I had a very bad experience with this company and I would not recommend buying from them. I bought a keyboard for my Samsung laptop for €25. I matched my serial number to their advertised product. When the keyboard arrived, it was the wrong keyboard. It had some different keys and would not fit. I wrote to laptop frog and they told me That there was several different types of keyboard for my computer and that I should have compared pictures? As far as I was concerned, I matched serial number with their add. When I contacted them they asked me to send pictures. So I did and then they sent me a picture of the keyboard that I should have ordered. It was substantially more money aswell for the same keyboard. They never even offered me a resolution. I notified PayPal about my experience. PayPal told me to ask them to supply free post and packaging return to them which would have been fine with me but When I got back onto them, they told me to return the keyboard to them at my own expense and they would refund the money to me. I explained to them that for me to pay for post and packaging back to them from ireland to china, that it would be more than the €25 I paid for the keyboard originally. That was the last I heard from them. Now I’m left with a keyboard that is no good to me and I’m short €25 I paid laptop frog. Also Be aware that This company keeps making excuses on their reply’s like they are dealing with professional technicians . I have e mails to prove they give deadlines to return the product? They expect the customer to pay for return postage to China that costs more than the product they sold. Laptop frog is not very good with customer relations and I would never deal with them again or recommend them to anybody.

My less-than-year-old MSI GS65 Stealth Thin starting making a horrific grinding noise while playing a game. Apparently, this is a common issue. I got this fan and the GPU version from the same brand in two days. Taking apart MSI laptops can be an intimidating process, but it's not that big of a deal. I did it within about 40 minutes with the help of some excellent YouTube videos. While I did order thermal paste, I was able to replace both this CPU and the GPU fan without removing the cooling tubes and all that. The "factory seal" is really the hardest part because it feels like the very thin rear cover is going to bend. Just go slow and easy... it's all pretty simple. I also took photos of each screw's location on the motherboard, since there are so many unused holes. I never referred back to them though. Even with its upside-down motherboard, replacing these fans is totally doable by almost anyone with the right tools and video guidance. You can find computer repair tool kits all over for maybe $20. Get one with a plastic flathead/pick so you don't mar the WiFi connections and other various clips that hold wires in. For me, this was a much better option than sending it off for three weeks, even if it was covered by warranty. So far, the fans are holding up perfectly.

I was a bit worried when I first ordered these, because I wasn’t 100% sure if they would work with the 2018 Helios 300, there weren’t many reviews yet, and no pictures to actually be sure of what I was getting I took my time replacing these and everything turned out perfect the blades aren’t metal like the OEM ones but after running some stress tests my temps are better than ever and I don’t hear anymore grinding noises which is great, I would like to note that for the thermal paste I used thermal grizzly kryonaut which I highly recommend, one thing that is good to know is there is some tape adhering to the other side of the fan, I recommend taking extra care when removing it, I actually ended up making a clean cut with a box cutter and just removing the tape that was on the fans as neatly as I could when I replaced the fans I carefully put some 3m electrical tape on to replace that which is probably unnecessary but I did it anyways

I have a HP Pavilion 17-G015DX that just turned 3 years old. Like any toddler, my laptop gets temperamental. It sounded like a jet engine taking off every time I booted it or if I made it think extra hard, so I apparently got used to it. I decided to replace the CPU fan with this one. It installed in a snap. In fact, it took longer unscrewing and re-screwing the 2 dozen screws to open take apart the laptop and get to the motherboard. I turned my laptop on, and I heard nothing. Uh oh; did I forget to plug the cable into the motherboard? I decided to put my ear close to the vent, and I heard a faint humming sound. I also felt air circulation. I turned my laptop off -- the faint hum and air circulation stopped. Turned it back on -- faint hum and air. So far, so good. The fan occasionally gets louder when the laptop really needs to think, but it's more like a Tesla motor than a Boeing 747. Love it.

My girlfriend's computer was dying, would freeze up and operate extreme slow. Complained that she wanted a new pc. So I bought her a NZXT H1 Mini. When her new computer came, I was able to take apart her old NUC and troubleshoot. Sure enough during testing the computer started to lag terribly. Had the cover off and noticed that the cooling fan wasn't spinning. System must be thermal throttling to save the CPU. So gave the fan a flick with my fingernail and it started spinning again. And the lag gone. Looked into replace cooling fans and found this shop. Even though it wasn't fastest shipping, it came reasonably quickly. So took off the old one cooling fan and put the new one on. I put some new electric tape. And it's back to life! I'm so thrilled!

I bought a hard-to-find replacement battery pack for my Acer branded laptop. The photo shows how swollen the old battery pack had become! The replacement battery pack was dispatched quickly and, although it was slightly delayed in the Christmas post, the Laptopfrog.com responded quickly to my query about it. The battery arrived in perfect condition, having been very well wrapped (with bubble wrap, foam in a cardboard box, all inside a large envelope). My personal advice would be to make sure you contact support (provide with needed part serial number) to ask for the right variant for your laptop, so that all the screw holes are in the correct places. The battery charged up nicely and the laptop is as good as new now.

The customer service always responded quickly and competent. The search options have been extended for me so that I could easily order needed model cooler I was looking for. The order was prepared and shipped within the announced period and arrived in perfect condition well protected in its packaging. Replaced cpu cooler and the laptop ready for gaming again.

I found this site after my friend's dog chewed through my laptop charger and I wanted to get a quick replacement. They had the one I needed at a cheaper price than anywhere else I looked (Amazon, the manufacture's original site, etc.) However there were different types of input plugs for the charger I requested from their site. They even sent me pictures of the different input sizes side by side to help me figure out which one I needed. Unfortunately I didn't know because I didn't have the cable anymore, but even then they were understanding and refunded my order promptly. Wonderful customer service, will definitely come to this site first in the future and highly recommend to anyone looking
