“Hello. Firstly thank you for supplying the free sample. I do really appreciate it. I feel initially the sample option is the best way to go, so again thank you. The reviews here were excellent, based on that I was ready to give it a go. I like to be honest & I really wanted to have found & committed to a natural deodorant that was effective and would be my ‘new go to.’ I have tried about 5 brands of natural deodorants including pastes, sprays & roll ons. Here in QLD it gets ridiculously hot & humid. I am sorry to say, but I found this did not mask the odour. It was subtle but still enough for me to not fully commit & trust it would get me through, especially working in a hot bakery with my colleagues close by. It may work ok in the cooler months. The search continues. 🙂”

Hi Linda, thanks for giving Lavilin a go. It sounds like we need to do some troubleshooting with you as the previous deodorants you have been using probably have bicarb or magnesium hydroxide which is very alkaline and damages the acid protective layer of the skin. This means Lavilin has to work really hard to get the bacteria under control as the bacteria go nuts as the pH of the skin readjusts. There are a few tips we can help you with to reset your skin back to normal acidic levels and help to get Lavilin working for you if you are up for trying. Contact us and we will see what we can do.

“Found it incredibly difficult to spread on hairy armpits, even after leaving a dab to warm up under there for a while. Really had to press and drag my Sensitive skin to get the product to spread which also tugged on my underarm hair. Only worked If I shaved which I don’t want to do.”

Hey Frankie, something doesn't sound right here. It should be very easy to apply even on hairy armpits and you should not have to shave to use Lavilin. Get in contact with us so we can do some troubleshooting with you and get this happening for you as it should.

“I like said. These products are a waste of time. The body odor is even worse than naturally. Who bought this and said it works probably have no armpit sweats/smell or simply seeders! Sorry but Strongly not recommended!”

“This product did not work for me. I had to keep reapplying more than instructions as I was sweaty/smelly. I am obviously one of the few that cannot use. I will unfortunately be returning. LF”

“Anyone who thinks this works is either: A. Lives alone and can't smell themselves B. Doesn't sweat or exert themselves physically C. Is kidding themselves It's like every other natural deodorant. I wish it worked but unfortunately it just doesn't.”

Natalie sounds like we need to do some troubleshooting with you. Sometimes there can be a longer settling in time for the long-term effects of a previous product. There are some things we can try to get it happening for you.

“I thought it sounded too good to be true. It only works if you don't exercise or it is a cold day and have minimal sweat. I noticed body odour straight after the gym when using this product. I followed all the instructions so maybe it only works on certain people and not for those that exercise a lot :(”

Sorry to hear Lavilin has not kicked in for you as it should Fabien. Excercise and even swimming won't affect the effectiveness of Lavilin. Sometimes it needs time to get the bacteria under control and often the key is being able to persevere to give Lavilin the time it needs to work its magic. We can send you some of our foot samples which are slightly stronger and can be used under the armpits to help get you there. “Had high hopes for this product but it was a waste of time for our family. Not fun to use on hairy armpits, spent the whole time trying to get our moneys worth out of the smallest of containers that it didn’t work well. Prob great for teens who won’t use deodorant unless it’s forced as u can do it less often but u would have to meter it out for them as a few careless overdoing it swipes and it’d be gone.”
