“I found this TEFL course to be a very affordable rate, and therefore had relatively low expectations, yet learned quite a lot more than I expected to. I feel much more prepared to teach in an ESL classroom than I expected from an online class as there was lots of modelling/practice, and was happy to see they were refuting old models of educational theory where appropriate, and explaining that things are more complex. It felt like a very modern, well researched and thorough curriculum. I was happy to see that my assignment was actually thoughtfully marked by my grader and I was given useful feedback! “A lot of good information. Allows you access for 6 months, and if you take your time and go over the lessons thoroughly you can learn a lot. Great Price, and not overwhelming, good format and easy to get through.”

“This was a very good course ! I was able to complete it in three weeks! A lot of reading (and some minor spelling and grammatical errors within) but a good educational course. Very informative material with straight forward quizzes and assignments.”

“The course is great. It's a lot of reading, but the videos and games are a nice touch and break up the long prose. The only reason I'm rating it "good" and not "very good" is because access to the job tips and modules doesn't last forever. It'd be nice to use these as a reference at any point in our teaching careers. Other than that, really great course!”

“I think the course material was very good! I ran into a few problems navigating the system. There were parts of the course that did not appear to have a corresponding assignment, and I continued the course skipping over required assignments, and did not see them until the end, when I thought I was ready to take the final. There were some others I missed, and did not even recognize this, until I looked at the grade report after I had supposedly completed the course and exam. Consequently, my final grade was lower because of missing assignments. Other than than I thought the course was good, and contained many valuable materials. Is it possible to access those now? I would like to have a manual to use as a resource for teaching so as to access some of the activities and ideas.”

“I found it really long and at times the reading became quite boring. More interactive activities would be a great addition. I found my tutor to be efficient and professional although somewhat distant. My biggest concern though is realising that there are a growing number of schools, recruiters etc., who do not place much value on an certificate that has been obtained online. I have come across a number of vacancies where they insist on classroom contact time. I think this is an area that needs to be looked at if your course / certification is going to have any value into the future.”

“Thank you for providing me with excellent and clear learning instructions.As I want to concentrate on online teaching and not in a classroom environment , I felt that more online teaching methods would have been great. “Very well done, enjoyed the course as I learned alot from the course. I do however feel the tests and final exam should be a bit more challenging, and a bit more out of the box thinking. They were well constructed however alot of the answers in my opinion were common sense instead of testing what I had learnt. But overall really enjoyed the course and learnt alot of things that will help me going forward.”
