It saddens me that I have to write yet another poor review about Lebara. Each supposed fix, they promise that this time will sort out the issue. They have changed my SIM twice and repeated some settings steps, but nothing has solved the issue. It takes about 20-40 seconds for a internet page to load. the other day, Rohan form the complainst team who has been dealing with the complaint, was so certain that the last SIM replacement would work that he didn't call me back as promised "later". It's been days. the problem is not sorted. He hasn't bothered to check. Today I was forced to write to the main Lebara email as Rohan has not offered a direct email for him. They wanted me to write an essay about the history of a problem which is now 6 weeks old! Really? You should have it all on your screen. why are you forcing me to do all the work. READ MY NOTES! I said simply to pass this to Rohan, but they refused and ignored my email, hence why I am forced to write another poor review

Joined Lebara last few weeks, there has been one problem after another, definitely not a smooth transition. Customer support did not resolve the problems, was often not great, and in one case caused even more knock on problems. Case was escalated to a manager a few times with promised call backs, that did not happen, again a few times. Service is really poor. I was finally connected by someone randomly as I was about to enter a meeting, so we agreed a time that suited them to call me back- again NO CALL back as promised, and so it goes on!

Signed up with Lebara a week ago and it's been headache after headache, first they screwed up the delivery, and I had to order a replacement SIM. Then they messed up porting my number. I can make calls and send texts, but can't receive phone calls or texts. At first they told me to wait 24 hours and that it might fix itself, guess what it didn't! Then they told me it's a known issue that was affecting other people on the day I ported. I've now spoken with 3 CS agents (it's always a different one and they seem to have trouble passing notes) and the last one told me I have to wait another 48 hours for the technical team to get in touch. It just goes on and on.. what an absolute disgrace! Ofcom should revoke their license. I will definitely be contacting the Communications Ombudsman about this too. Avoid dealing with this company at all costs if you value your time/sanity!

Really poor customer service! I took out a SIM only contract that involved a £40 gift card after 180 / 210 days. The promotion was advertised on Martin Lewis website and was a good deal. Did receive the gift card. However filling a lot of phone calls and no luck, I contacted OFCOM. The next day the issue was resolved. Steer clear, there are better phone companies out there who look after their customers. I've left Lebara!

If you want a reasonable SIM-only contract and don't want to pay the earth Lebara is for you. I got unlimited calls and texts and I don't recall ever being denied a connection when making a call. The data however was not as good as my current provider so if you use lots of it then you might need to look around, which is eventually what I did although the connections are now slow. I guess you can't have it both ways.

Changed to Lebara, as there are excellent deals available… BUT No-one can phone me from a landline after my number was supposed to have been ported. I can phone a landline but a landline can’t phone me. Why? Who knows? Lebara don’t and it appears that they’re not interested in solving the problem if my latest interaction is anything to go by. So yes, cheap deals… But your phone may not work once you change. As I said, hmmm…

Bought a SIM for data to use in a mobile Wi-Fi unit - impossible to set up. It says it will send you the number by SMS but without internet there is no message. Useless for mobile Wi-Fi data only applications.

Please avoid this company. They raised the minimum limit from 5 EUR per month to 7 without noticing. The credit can be charged by 5 or 10, which doesn't make any sense. If you have any left credit, then it is consumed without notice at an absurd higher rate. There is no one you can talk with. I will make complain to the consumer rights authorities in Spain. Please avoid this scam at any cost!!!

Het slechtste bedrijf. Wij adviseren klanten om geen jaarlijks abonnement te nemen, omdat ze het bedrijf dan draaiende houden. Als ik opzeg, is dit wat er met mij is gebeurd. Het internet stopt snel en de medewerkers werken niet mee

They are the most unprofessional and incompetent company I have ever worked with. They have sent me an empty SIM card, although I have paid 7€ for the offer (7 GB, unlimited calls, etc.) on their official website. Basically, I was unable to activate my SIM card so I conntacted them and they told me to go to the nearest shop to activate it. For activation I had to pay extra 5€ and then the guy told me that the card is empty (no saldo) and that I should pay for a new bono. After 15min talk to one of their agents, they promised me the refund, but I had to send them via WhatsApp the bill for 5€. When I did that I had to explain everything again to a new agent that said that right now their system is updating and she is unable to assist me. I am still waiting for them to finally do something! Unbelievable!

I am not a robot! To be subjected to at times 10 or more tick the cars, the buses the cycles the motorcycles the fire hydraunnts etc is appalling . I can access my bank account easier and all I want to look at is do I need to top up. Looking now for another provider more expensive I’m sure but who cares as signing in is a nightmare especially when your eyesight is not 100% and the pictures are grainy. Never use this company

Shocking service in fact none for over a week only with them 3 weeks, 2Sims later and no phone for a week then got service for 4 days and it stopped again! Couldn't ring them obviously so had to do so on someone else's phone, cheap and nasty not worth the hassle seriously do Not recommend, steer clear!!

I've just received my SIM from Lebara. Firstly, the automatic data set up routines didn't work. Secondly, I've completed a request to move my existing number to Lebara, but the request will take 6 days to process. Which is 5 days longer than my previous experience with other carriers, and effectively leaves me uncontactable because I don't want to give out a temporary number. I've contacted the so-called customer support team, but the agent didn't understand what I was saying, it was like speaking to a programmed robot. All in all, a very unsatisfactory experience and I'm sorry I ever thought about switching to this company.

Lebara mobile offer better price and data over Giffgaff. It was Friday I ordered a sim and arrived on Monday. Then successfully port out my number to Lebara in two days while Voxy would take 5-7 days to switch the old number.

My 12 year old daughter had a Lebara account, so she and her 14 year old brother agreed he would also move across via the £50 referral offer, planning to split the reward £25 each.
Despite following the steps as Lebara instructs and my son successfully transferring to Lebara, the £50 reward was not forthcoming.
My daughter contacted Lebara customer services, who went through the motions of being helpful but in fact were completely hopeless and ineffective.
Lebara never paid the £50 referral reward and 6 months have now passed, although they did succeed in signing up both my son and my daughter, who feel they have been well and truly ripped off. BEWARE!
