“I wanted just the magnetic charger end for my torch which had broken, for the second time.But ended up having to buy the complete charger for nearly £30.I was told the part I needed was not available, but I had managed to buy it only a few months ago previous for £12.99?.My charger was fine, I did not need the whole thing.I then asked the young man about LED lenser head torches, as I wanted to upgrade my current one, he said leave it with me and I will email you all the information over regarding head torches, and specifications.Nothing was sent over to me only the receipt for the charger purchased.I did get the charger next day but I did pay for a next day service, as I needed the charger quickly.I felt that the young man dealing with my requests, did not know much about the products he was selling at all and was very disappointed, with the service!.”

“This torch has apparently been designed specifically for running. I have had 4 LED Lenser products prior to this and very happy. However, the light distribution on this Ledlenser® NEO4 Head Torch is way too wide and needs to be more focused. The write up mentions the light beam has been designed to avoid dazzling on coming drivers, which makes no sense to me after using as the light is so wide it would catch everything and anything on coming. Also do not see the point of such a wide beam from the runners point of view. Cant return product due to Covid-19 situation. I have been loyal to this brand but may look else where in future.”

“I ordered a car charger suitable to use with my Xeo 19r head torch. The main issue was that the plug moulding on the DC plug was too large to fit in the charging socket on the battery pack. The cigarette lighter end feels quite cheap and is a poor fit (the shaft is quite narrow) and slops about a lot in the 12v charging socket on my van. I had to file the moulding on the DC connector to get it to fit. Not what I expect from something that was so expensive and supplied from a reputable brand.”

“I purchased 2 torches 1 headlight torch and a hand held torch (P13).I have purchased LEDLENSER products some years ago and swore by them ! On receiving my latest purchase I was very disappointed in the quality of the units in particular with the switch controls, the switches seem select what ever level of light they wish and when changing light levels it does its own thing ! The 2 torches cost £117 or so ! I will definitely be looking at other torches from other manufacturers, as my colleagues have better quality units for far less money! Sorry LEDLENSER one very disappointed customer ! I thought your your products would get better not take a down hill !!!!!”

“Bought for my wife who is very petite, size 8-10, this strap harness is very awkward to adjust to small size , you can only adjust the shoulder straps there is no adjustment on the chest strap that holds the torch, which means when you tension the straps to fit a small frame the chest harness becomes to tight, very bad design, wasted money on this item it is unusable for my wife.”

“I found this torch not to be that bright and I found the battery takes time to recharge, when it is charged up the battery doesn’t last long , maximum about half an hour, very disappointing product, I’ve had led ledlenser head torches and they are fantastic.”

Hi Christopher, This does not sound right to me. All torches sold by Led Lenser Store carry a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty. Led Lenser Store will directly replace any item that is found to be damaged or faulty within 30 days of it arriving with the customer and only once the item in question has been returned to us. Beyond the first 30 days of ownership and throughout the remaining warranty period, all warranty claims will be handled by the UK distributor of Led Lenser products and you will need to contact them directly. “I ordered an item with express delivery as I needed it quickly. They sent me the wrong item, then expected me to return it myself before sending out the right one. Their error - for which they expected me to pay. Now have offered a discount on the next order.....good luck with that one!”

“As a 62 old I like fishing and walking. A few years ago my family bought me a HR14R2, and I then found I had a faulty battery. I replaced the battery, and then this year I had a need to use it, only to find the battery was u.s. I then tried to order a new one, only to find that they are discontinued and no I have a lamp which cost £80-90 pound and cannot use. WONDER WHY led lenser didn't inform customers that the were due to be replaced. This with faulty batteries, in summary a very disappointing episode which I will not be repeating.”

“Have been issued the P7 2 torch twice as part of my job, with in 2 months each time the led unit has become faulty. Certainly not the torch to buy for reliabilty”

“The LEDLENSER is an excellent head mount lamp keeping both hands free for what ever is the task. However the latest H5 I have bought doesn't seem to be of the quality as the earlier same style H5 LedLenser headlamps I have used. The Light strength when used as a spot light is poorly rated and the spot size less. The Indicator light on the back of the battery pack is of little use, once on the head that indicator light cannot be seen, and personally I miss the control that was provided on the battery pack in the earlier version of this lamp, which provided a dimmer to avoid server glare in certain applications. Hope these personal observations are helpful to the future development of the LEDLENSER. Thank you. Keith Rowlands”
