I bought a pair of shoes with part imitation suede and patent material several years ago and they looked fine except for the following problem.I have worn them several times. One day recently I took the shoes out of the box and found that the suede was peeling off leaving gray spots on the front and the sides of the shoe. The shoes are still wearable but they look ugly with many places where the suede came off. Can the shoes be repairable? Tried using a black marker but that didn't work.
Please advise what options are available for this problem. Would appreciate your reply.
Thank you!
