“Hard to understand why I need to renew after one year, if it’s a three year certificate”

For James and anyone looking to enroll, the forklift certification is legally required to be renewed every 3 years, not every year. There are situations where the operator would need to complete the training sooner than 3 years, like if the operator were in an accident or operated the forklift in an unsafe manner. This may have been the case with James. When it is just about time to renew at the 3 year mark, we send email notifications with a link to renew your license.
