“My experience at Linley & Simpson York was cracking because over the time we have used them for sales and rental they have always provided excellent service particularly Julie Thornley our maintenance manager who was an absolute star when it came to getting the documentation out to us when we sold our property.”

“I'd recommend Linley & Simpson York because first and foremost they showed a very friendly face alongside their professional side.they handled most of the letting to a very high standard,only at the last moment did a small matter arise that i felt could of been handled differently as mentioned...this was not a major problem but led me to feel somewhat anxious..overall all the team were very thorough and i would easily recommend all of the staff for their high standard of work ethics.”

“Good feedback and information from York branch prior to a sale being agreed, however once matter passed to Solicitors and sale team at Horsforth this became non -existent except at my instigation. Despite moving to new offices the York branch did help to resolve some last minute issues and get the sale concluded.”

“The staff at Linley & Simpson York were good because they were very fast and efficient. However they should take more time with individuals as there was not a lot of communication with the agency and I. Very impressed with Jo Hibbert. She was exceptional”

“Please don't sign a contract with them. They are incredibly scummy and the service is horrible. You have to call in at least 10 times to say the same thing to different agents and they still won't listen.”

“Possibly the most unprofessional letting agent I have ever experienced! Taking confabulation to new levels, displaying no urgency with maintenance requests, lackadaisical attitude to legal documentation... I could go on but life is too short - just find another agent and save yourself stress and time.”

“Initially i thought my experience was positive as it was handled very quickly. Now having moved into the property I find I have been lied to about the level of cleanliness and repair. As well as this there are various maintenance issues eg hot water not heating at night, smells from the sink, shower left in a broken and disgustingly unclean state... All these need following up and I feel disgusted and misled about what I have been sold.”
