“Delivery was excallent, service and help great, the major issue was carriage at £12. For years I have collected from the trade counter. carriage added another third to the total cost. I'm afraid I will be soucing my mounts else where unless you can introduce click and collect”

“The sales team were extremely helpful in discussing specific framing requirments and the next day dleivery service was superb. Unfortunatley the frame ties and screws were incompatible in both of my orders even when they replaced them with a different option.”

“I’ve used Lion for years but this was the first time I’ve ordered through their web site, they had everything in stock and it came when they said, the quality of their merchandise is excellent, my only complaint was that the delivery company left my goods in an unsafe entry and open to the elements , there was no text or card , I only found out when I tracked my package”

“Good service let down by poor delivery service and having to wait in the house for the delivery over nearly 3 days. Already provided feedback about specific details of the experience but simply no information was received about despatch or delivery tracking. Indeed I found that there was no way of tracking without speaking directly to Sales staff. Recommended that an order tracking feature be provided within the Customer's Account area of the website alongside Orders and Invoices.”

“Good to see delivery delays have been resolved. I received my next-day delivery as promised. The only improvement to delivery service would be to know if the order is going to be delivered in the morning or afternoon. DX do not give any indication of what time they will deliver your order. Some delivery services such as Royal Mail & DPD give live updates/estimated delivery times accurate within 1 or 2 hours. With Royal Mail you can actually track your delivery vehicle in real time.”

“Hi I am giving 4 stars because you are always available on the phone and very accomodating to talk to. I did have an issue with a mountboard order which contained 3 boards of the wrong colour. This did not affect me a great deal as I was ordering for stock, but it could have been a problem. I appreciate you responded very well with a credit.”

“We have always found everything OK with Lion apart from the packaging. The packaging around the moulding comes apart showing the bubble wrap which more often than not gets damaged through transit.”

“Good Products and speedy delivery. DX now used by Lion for delivery and they are much better than previous carrier- if DX would give forecast of delivery time (like DPD) I would then give 5 stars. Product well packed.”

“It was the first time I ordered from Lion. I ordered from the chop service. The quality of the moulding (Brompton and Ultrecht) is very good and I am very pleased with this side of the order. However, there were several snags. One of the parts had a mark on the face side that looks like something was pressed against it. It is not big, but still noticeable. Luckily the moulding is painted, so the defect can be fixed. Secondly, two frames were chopped to the wrong dimensions. I ordered two 6x12 in frames but received two 6x8 in. I will still use these frames, but I do need to order the right ones again. I wrote an e-mail to Lion, but unfortunately received no response. Nevertheless, I would recommend Lion. For the price the quality is good and there is a reasonably good selection of mouldings.”

“Excellent service although a slight problem with was resolved quickly My order was delivered promptly next day and I advised Craig in sales immediately after placing the order to alert your production to the longer lengths to be checked for straightness (also noted on order sheet). CL1648 Chop 22mm 'Richmond' Black Unfortunately 2 of these arrived warped and I tel. your Tracey who actioned this immediately and replacements were made (arrived 21.10). This has happened on previous orders. I understand that natural woods such as the black ash cannot always be 'perfect' but this was beyond acceptable tolerances. The black ash suits my work perfectly and is a moulding which is very durable for exhibition work. Saying that Lion is still a very good supplier and excellent service and prices. “All arrived well packed. My Exhibition isn't until December but everything looks good - one of the Newly Hooks was broken (the tiny round black seal was missing). Will be needing more hooks for an Exhibition in February. My new website, email and other social media accounts will be up and running next week, will send yo them. Thank you for your help. Lorna”
