“£404 to take a radiator off he wall! Was told by the sub contracted plumber it would of been £120 max if I'd of book direct don't use this company absolutely cowboys!”

We’re Sorry that you feel this way, however all prices where explained to you in full detail before you booked the appointment, which gives you the opportunity to call around to get the best price for you however you didn’t, or you decided that we was best suited for the job. The work that was carried out was to remove a radiator form the wall and cut back to pipework and cap off also to remove and old unused main stop valve and reconnect the pipework. To remove the radiator the heating system would have needed to be drained down and refilled which can take some time as every heating system is different. As for removing the main stop valve you had asked the engineer to do that on top of the other work carried out. The engineer was working for 4 and half hours however we only charged for 3 hours plus the cost of the materials, therefore we had discounted your bill. We understand that you believe the charges are expensive but we carry out regular checks against our competitors to make sure our prices are competitive and in most cases, we are. We check our prices against medium to nationwide companies but we are unable to compete with sole traders due to the size of our overheads. From experience, we’ve found that customers prefer to work with a company rather than a sole trader due to the quick response to emergencies and the fact that all engineers are fully qualified and insured, giving them a peace of mind. As 99% of our customers would agree, we strive to ensure they receive the best possible service at the best possible prices.
