I have been buying from Love Too True since day 1 back in 2013. I am extremely disappointed in what this company has become. I don’t think have seen a greater downfall with a company in the gothic/alternative clothing industry. When the company started in 2013 all of the clothing was made in the UK by the two owners of the company themselves. It was incredible quality slow fashion made with with thick, durable fabric and great craftsmanship. In 2017 the company hired an in house team in the UK to help keep up with the demand. Fast forward to 2019 and the company stopped manufacturing in the UK and outsourced all their clothing to be made in Turkey. The craftsmanship of the products have steadily declined as well as the quality of the fabric. It’s thinner, flimsier and pills and starts falling a part within just one wash/wear. Their sizing has also becoming horrifically inconsistent. I’ve had to buy 3 different sizes of their clothing to fit my body. And they have an no returns policy which has left me in very difficult situations when their sizing is so inconsistent. The packages often take 7-10 days to become dispatched and the customer service is very slow and never friendly mannered. All of their product I bought from them a decade ago is still holding up impeccably well. Everything I’ve purchased from them since they’ve outsourced is falling a part in some way. I won’t buy from them anymore.

Size charts is not accurate AT ALL. I ordered a dress in UK10 which is a size up from my normal UK8 and it is so small in the arm holes that I could barely get into it but the waist is huge even laced as tight as it can go, and its incredibly short. Seems like defective manufacturing. I ordered to the US and it would cost as much as the dress to return the item even though it was sent to me all messed up.

Much like the other people who have purchased from this company, I have had a horrible experience. I was sent the wrong size. I had used the size chart at the time of purchasing, as I always do with online clothing. I'm very familiar with my measurements as I sew my own clothes, and what I received was easily two sizes larger than what was listed on the site. I sent in my complaint, provided photos of my measurements, and they offered a return as a solution. The thing is, I paid customs, shipping, and would have to pay return shipping from Canada back to the UK - which all in is as much as the pants themselves. So I asked for an alternative solution. Additionally, there was an out of stock item on my order. They did not remove this from the packing slip, and I subsequently paid customs for an item that wasn't even in the order. I have not heard back now for over two weeks and have sent two follow up emails. All in, this is sketchy as hell.

I ordered a dress and sadly it took over a week to be shipped out. Even for a small business that is way too long. Customer service also takes many days to reply. Over Instagram I asked them if I have to pay a customs fee and I was told „that it’s usually not the case but if it is then it won’t be much“. A total lie. If I had known that I wouldn’t have ordered from there… I ended up paying almost half of the amount the dress is actually worth but sadly they aren’t even transparent about that on their website. Once it finally arrived after almost three weeks after placing my order, I was utterly disappointed by the quality. I expected a comfortable and beautiful fabric but what I got was cheap polyester. Not worth the money, total disappointment, won’t be ordering from there ever again!

My 14 yr old spent her xmas money not realising the no refund returns policy so now has 3 pairs of trousers that look nothing like on the tiny sized model. Terrible returns policy shouldn't be allowed

I am from the US and I understand that orders from out of the country take longer as well as the situation with COVID but I ordered two things and got order confirms on sept 14. My package didn't get shipped UNTIL OCTOBER 6TH. Its not that the mailing company took forever its that they hadn't even taken it to the carrier since the 6th. Thats ridiculous. Its October 12th and I have yet to receive a package.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I used to adore this company but they have fallen off so hard. I purchased from the US, they sent me the wrong size argued with me and then later admitted to sending the wrong size. Customer service was consistently snippy and always had an excuse instead of apologizing. I paid for shipping twice, once it got to the uk they refused to pick up the items from customs due to tariff charges and once again blamed me. I haven’t even received a FULL refund and probably won’t.
