“Overall, prices are good, but the stores are extrememly crowded. You can know that the item you want is in the next aisle, but you'll never get there. Too many people in the aisles, too many people going this way and that at then end of the aisles. Also, too many items are in too many different places. Bread is in about 5 different places in the store. The bagging is also very weird. The bagger kept asking me if I wanted bags and I kept saying yes. He still left a lot of my items unbagged and I didn't know that until I put them in my car. I ended up carrying loads of unbagged items to my 2nd floor apartment. Is MB putting a limit on how many bags you can take now regardless of how much you're buying?”
“I called up the kitchen to relay a message to the manager. That the boy that lives with me can no longer work on Sunday's. The lady named Crystal Bose immediately started screaming at me and told me she wasn't discussing Jeremy with anybody, but Jeremy. I wasn't discussing Jeremy. I was just telling her, to relay a message for me to liz which is the kitchen manager. She was screaming and hung up on me. I found this to be unprofessional to say the least. I found it sad that market basket puts up with this unprofessionalism.”
“I get overcharged in this store every time. Bananas, cheese, fish, produce - every time I go there, I get charged a higher price at the checkout than posted. Not on all items, of course, but out of 10-15 items in my cart, one or more will be charged at higher price than posted. Yes, they will give you refund if you complain, but it's a chore and an effort to collect that $1-$2 overcharge so I am sure not many people bother or even notice. But I brought it up to the management's attention numerous times and the fact that it continues to happen makes me really wonder..”
“The baggers can't bag, not blaming them, blaming the company for bad training. Made them rebag because they piled stuff on top eggs. Others bag one thing per bag. Getting fed up.”
“I thought I was in another country!! I ask a question and my answer is” no speak English”. Are you for real??? This is America and NO English
Also, one week you have an item, the next week you don’t.”
“Lowest prices in the area. But beware, check the expiration dates of everything. I learned my lesson having to bring back rancid items, or past the expiration date. Employees are often rude, even when they are just standing around doing nothing, if you ask a question, they just walk away, on several occasions. I'm not sure if it's the store, or the lack of accountability of their generation. They seem to think just being there is a reason to get paid. God forbid you ask them to check if something is in the storage room, since none is out in the store. The person asked several people, then ... nothing. It sucks when a handicapped person has to go to a different store because they cannot stock the shelves correctly or check if there is stock. Lazy, lazy, lazy. The only decent employees are the lovely challenged people, in the dairy department. Figure it out, Nashua. Mike DeMoulas is rolling over in his grave.”
“Cashier was horrible. He did not acknowledge the customer before us or us. No eye contact, thank you or any communication. He was too busy “mouthing” words to the bagger next to his check out .Need more customer service training. Worst cashier we have EVER experienced.”
