I have just taken delivery of a Jaguar E Pace, the car is just over 3 years old but it both looks like new and I was treated like I was buying a brand new car. Thank you Matthew Woods for the attention to detail and the amazing service you provided. A very happy Marshall’s customer. Best wishes Sandy Ralston

Just bought a Jaguar XJ50 from Marshall Jaguar in Peterborough. Well, actually I bought it from Billy McManus, the sales executive! I say that because he is the one who convinced me. He has been exceptionally open and honest, knowledgeable, fast to respond to any queries and a great credit to both Marshall and Jaguar. Billy inspires confidence that you buy the right car from the right dealership: I hope he gets a pay rise in his next review and speedy promotion. Having bought my own cars for over 50 years, I can state that I have met few sales executives of his quality. If the car is half as good as he is when it is delivered I will have bought a real gem.

I must thank Ryan at the Blackburn garage. He takes an interest in customer requirements, listens to their comments, and organises resources to get the problem resolved.

DO NOT buy a car from this dealership! I bought fairly new Golf (2018) in August 2022 from their Croydon dealership online only to be told on the day I took ownership of the car that the second key didn't work (they hadn't checked) so I would have to wait 2-6 weeks for a new key from Germany - I'm still waiting some 3 months later. Other problems include selling me the car with a perished tyre that became too dangerous to drive on and I had to replace - even though it was an advisory on their mot and I asked them to replace it as a condition of sale - they refused saying it was safe. NOT for long it wasn't! It developed a 4 inch tear in the tyre wall! There were some other more trivial issues that they initially said they were going to sort out only to then just ignore me. Basically as soon as they had my money they lost all interest. In 30+ years of motoring I've never had such appalling after care from any dealer - small or large. Never again. I've only given one star because you can't not give any stars!.

I recently purchased the car I had been leasing. After I had signed the paper and got home I reviewed them. Always review before signing no matter what dealership and ask question. Had I done that it could have been fixed before I left. There were some mistakes in the numbers of the charge of the lease. I did return and after they went over the paper work realized some number were mistaken and corrected the contract. I am now paying the correct about. They apologized for the mistake and misunderstanding. I will be returning for the oil change and maintenance on the car. I had no problem with them correcting things.

Found a car through VW approved used programme in Milton Kenyes. Went to view to car, there were few works needed to get it up to standard i.e. partial shelf missing, full valet etc. They promised the car would be ready in a week so I went to pick up the car after a week and it was exactly in the same condition. Since I travelled 200 miles and already paid the deposit I didn't wanted to return empty handed and loose the deposit. I bought the car anyway and after about 2 weeks the fuel started to leak. I've managed to sort out the issue with different garage (VW Vertu), which was seal deformation on the fuel sender unit. It's been about 9 weeks now since I got the car and I've still not received my V5C. I've been chasing Milton Kenyes Marshall almost everyday and its almost impossible to get hold of anyone. I don't have any issue with the VW brand itself but the way the business is ran with Marshall Group is shocking.

I found Dan very informative and helpful also very polite .I have got to say Dan asked what we were looking for gave us all information about car services what we could get for our money and was very professional and did nt make me feel I was getting a load of sales talk Thank you Dan and would definitely recommend you or use you again.

Totally unhelpful. This is pretty much a scam. I just cancelled my subscription. They use dent wizard or some such and you are the lowest priority. Probably because they pay a lower price to them than a regular customer. Avoid.

I found a car on Autotrader I liked and used the dialog box on Autotrader to contact Marshalls the dealer. Callum rang me and gave me the hard sell saying the car was his former company vehicle and was in as new condition. I arranged with Callum to drive the 80 miles from Cheshire to Worcester to purchase the car. Before setting off to Worcester the following day, I rang the dealer to make sure the car was still available , Callum said that they would reserve the car so that my journey wasn't a waste. When I got to the dealership Callum wasn't available so I dealt with the branch manager and we agreed a price for my trade in vehicle and the deal was done. Then after over two hours of hard sell and having agreed a deal came his bombshell, the cars advertised price wasn't the cars actual price and the car was in fact over £4000 dearer. Obviously I'm very unhappy with how deceitful this dealership has acted, stringing me along, wasting my time and fuel and worst of all not being honourable. Toyota cars are great, Marshalls are not. If you do want a Toyota then take my advise and buy one form a more honourable dealer

For the past week my daughter has emailed and phoned Sam Bilbie at Marshalls lincoln and not once he has replied to her, we were given a car which didn't meet the spec we had ordered and this has been going on for almost a year. Instead we have been pushed into a corner and given two options . Either keep the car or return the car back to Marshalls Lincoln. Both options are not viable to us. As the first is no good we keep the car which we are unhappy with and the latter if we decide to return the car we will get a refund minus the cost for using it, so we are getting penalised for their mistake. Then John Clark of Marshalls got involved and John had give my daughter assurances that the on going problem we have had with Marshalls Lincoln will be resolved to our satisfaction. We never heard from him either. Everyone has buried their heads in the sand hoping we would get fed up and give up. One of Marshalls Land Rover vision is customer service and they have failed miserably on that part. It probably applies to the rich and famous who can afford to waste money, unlike us working class families who work hard to buy a car of their dreams only for it to be turned into a nightmare. We are at our wits end and i wish inhad never bought a car from Land Rover. Not this is gonna make a difference but i thought everyone should know my experience.

I was sold a car by James Prentice in August 2021 and i can safely say, never again will i step foot in a Marshall dealership again let alone the one in Leicester. All is well and good when you are in the process of buying the car, the sales team and management team, cant do enough to help you, sadly, as soon as you drive away that's about as far as the customer service goes and as for after sales, you might as well just forget about that, as there has been NO after sales. I bought my Audi A3 from them in August and i travelled 2 hours for this car as i was very specific in what i wanted and i had been looking the best part of 6 months for the right car. Before even going to look at the car ( i intended to buy and drive away the same day) i asked multiple questions confirming everything i thought i knew. When the day came to look at(in person), collect and pay for the car, i was 20 minutes from the garage when i had a phone call advising the car may not be ready to drive away as the windscreen has a crack in, obviously i pushed that this would be sorted today and i would delay myself, (i had already took a day off work and my partner too, so he could drive me) and we were so close by. Thankfully, this was rectified and we didnt have too long to wait when we got there. We then looked around the car, test drove etc. Upon checking the car, i could visibly see numerous stone chips, rust marks, dents, scratches etc, i raised this was James as this was not the standard in which i expect to pick a car up in and i would have assumed the little marks would have been sorted prior, the big mark that was a scratch down to the primer that will inevitably rust over time was my main concern as this is a body work job. At the time, the bodywork wasn't the only issue, the car wasn't clean and hadn't been valeted inside but i let this slide as i was more concerned about the dents. I raised this with James and he spoke with someone and advised they would organise a company to come out and buff the whole car and sort the dent and paintwork out on the car where it was needed. The company was then allocated by James and was sent a month later, they tried to resolve the issue but advised this is not something they would repair and needed a proper body shop to do the work. Since September 2021, i have chased and advised James about the car issue, i have been passed from pillar to post and in the end i was advised to outsource someone to do the work. 7 months later, i have had a warranty issue with the car, where James himself advised me on something that was not even Marshall policy and i had to correct him, i still have dents, chips, scratches all over my car that i have been told i need to sort and organise myself but they only seem willing to accept a certain type of invoice, that sadly, i cannot obtain as i live 30 miles from a town centre, i have asked if he can help source someone but it seems to me he wants an easy life and has no after sales skills at all and as soon as he has his commission he is not bothered. He has ignored my emails for weeks and months and then only replied when i have chased and re forwarded emails to him. Quite frankly, i find his attitude shocking and rude and i have never experienced such terrible customer service. I am now STILL chasing the work to be completed on the car and i have asked for this issue to be passed on to higher management, so we will see what happens (when he replies as he likes to take 4 days minimum to reply to me). Would not recommend and i would never shop with Marshall again.

Sold a life-endangering car! Last year we purchased a new Skoda kodiaq from Marshall Croydon. Within a month the sos system was faulty rendering all Sat nav systems (on the car and connected mobile phones) faulty. When this happens, it is impossible to disconnect your phone from the car system leaving drivers with no means of navigation and trying to track routes on airplane mode on their phone. The car is dangerous for anyone driving a new or unknown route and I believe the onus should be on Marshalls to come and collect the faulty car and provide a replacement. Turns out this is a common fault affecting lots of Skoda kodiaqs. So far, communication from Marshall is slow and they say they can’t come and collect. My husband and I work full-time, need the car on a daily basis and don’t know the route well enough to the dealer to risk another dangerous drive. Very disappointing customer service and it feels like only a matter of time before someone has a crash and sues them.

It all started out very well. I have purchased several jaguars and Land Rovers from main dealerships over the years as normally you can depend on a quality vehicle and buying experience. The car purchased on this occasion is good. The salesman was helpful, but, and it’s a huge but! This is where Marshall’s fell short. I saw the walk round video and that looked perfect. In fact the salesman stated that it was in the showroom as it was in showroom condition. When I collected the car I must state that based on previous purchases I made the mistake of trusting Marshall’s and did not inspect closely. Once I got the car home the following day I started to clean the car and found that not only was the car NOT in showroom condition with three kerbed wheels and three deep scratches on rear boot lid, but the £700 Autoglyn lifetime treatment had been applied so badly that it will take many hours to remove the locked in dust from the bodywork and glass that feels like sandpaper! Upon asking for help regarding these issues the manager’s first response was to deny the facts making me feel that my integrity was in question. Eventually after a rant from me they agreed to carry out the work in house which on face value could be perceived as fair. However I live 128 miles from the dealer and therefore the cost in fuel and time to return would not make this a viable option. As Marshall’s have a dealership near me that will be installing a tow bar on back order it would obviously make sense that they carry out the work to rectify the above problems, but the manager would not agree to this so I have now booked the work privately at a cost to me of over £300. If you decide to purchase from this Marshall’s dealership I would treat them with the same level of trust as a back street dealership and check everything very carefully and once they have your money do not expect the service that you may have enjoyed when dealing with Jaguar/Land Rover elsewhere. I have certainly learnt my lesson.

I wish I could have given no stars! This is the worst company I have ever done business with! On my second BMW and now thinking of moving brands, the staff at the Bournemouth BMW service department are arrogant, unprofessional and have zero regard for customer care!

Terrible after service, car purchased remotely, video sent advising it had things it didn’t, Apple CarPlay, sat nav. CarPlay isn’t even a function available on the car I have found out despite being told it had it but I had to pay to action it. After a week of trying to avoid the sat nav issue they agreed to get me the sd card, over 2 weeks later I am still waiting for this. Callbacks and updates never made when told I would get them. Car turned up with no petrol, 10 miles and petrol Light on, car not cleaned to a good standard, wheels were supposed to be refurbished, just half done which is what they said is all they were do, took over 2 weeks to do any paperwork to transfer the car into my name despite me having paid for the car and had it for nearly 3, keen to take the £20k off you and then shocking aftercare. Would not purchase again from them

NEVER EVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS From start to finish it has been a nightmare. The day I went to pick the car up I drove 140 miles. The car was not ready. I went back the following week. Lee Bloomfield said that the car had a full service. This was a blatant lie. The car had an oil change only which is not a full service. We then had a burst fuel line causing the car to nearly catch fire as fuel was leaking onto the hot manifold. Two mechanics (one was the RAC) assessed the damage and both agreed that it is wear and tear that had been eroded over time. Both said the car should never have left Marshalls in that condition. Both said that Marshalls should have spotted this when they did the full service and the so called safety checks they brag about doing. We were advised to take the car to out local marshalls garage which is Wimbledon. They couldn't fit it in till 8 days later. Once there the car was looked at 2 days later. No courtesy car was available and if there had of been it would be £33 a day. Lee and Adrian at Ipswich both said that it would be free and the car would be repaired for free. We are meant to be going away on holiday and taking the car with us on Saturday. Once these criminals have your money they don't reply to emails or answer the phone. They are now trying to say that the pipe was damaged by rodents even though two independent mechanics dispute this. Marshalls in Wimbledon are now refusing to release our car without us paying £192. A charge that was never mentioned before. I was going to take my car to our usual mechanic but cancelled the appointment due to Lee and Adrian telling us to take it there. Ipswich don't want to know and are saying the car has rodent damage which is bull. They have not even seen the frayed pipe as I have it in my hand at home. NEVER EVER WILL I DO DEALING WITH THESE CROOKS EVER AGAIN. I HAVE WASTED £1000S ON USELESS WARRANTIES. I am extremely angry with these clowns and will be seeking legal advice.
