“We weren't given the correct code to get through the gate of our accommodation after a long drive in the pouring rain. Tried emergency number, it's been over an hour and still waiting.”
“Our original AirBnB was a scam, the pool was green among other issues. AirBnB put us here instead. He have a stay for 3 days, yet they would not give us the pool heater because our stay was less than two days. I explained we were staying 3 days, however, they just kept copy/pasting the 2 day minimum. Only reason we booked through AirBnB was for the pool.
Said it was against AirBnB policy and there was nothing they could do. Very frustrating. To top it off they offered us gifts to give good reviews. Break the rules for a 5 star review, but letting us pay for a pool heater was out of the question.
The AirBnB was ok. Little worn, but 3 star without the pool heater issue.”
“My Goodness, after reading all the reviews I am glad I got rid of them, I was unable to see my house for over 2 years due to Covid.
My house was being used and abused by this company.
They were renting my house for as low as 60 dollars a night, for a 5 bedroom 5 bathroom.
My house was, in a terrible state dirty, the grout on the tiles was black with dirt.
Their employees were using my house when was free from guests.
So many things were taken from my house.
Also they changed the password on my internet cancelling my CCTV 🎥 so there was no chance of me keeping an eye.
Stay away.”
“STAY AWAY - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
We recently stayed at 8979 Bismarck Palm Road, Kissimmee, FL 34747. We had a package delivered to this address, and the HOA indicated it costs $10 to retrieve the package.
The policy book from Master Vacation Homes indicates the policy is that the package can be picked up at no cost for up to ten days.
However, the HOA stated that this is not accurate, nor has that ever been the policy here. They stated that ANY package delivered to the clubhouse costs $10 to retrieve, regardless of when it arrived.
The property management representative would not concede that their documentation was incorrect. They would not concede that they are responsible for the documentation in their unit. They would not entertain refunding/crediting the $10.
When we asked to speak with a supervisor for an alternate recourse, we were lied to about manager not present, on vacation, and otherwise discounted our request to seek an alternate representative to further our dialogue. The representative was rude and confrontational, and obviously didn't want us to speak to anyone further about how she had dealt with our situation thus far.
Separately, and we weren't even going to go down this road, but:
1. There are 5 towels in the entire property - for 9 people
2. Two of the bar chairs are falling apart and unsafe to sit on.
3. The kitchen faucet stem is almost falling off the sink.
4. First floor shower door doesn't open/close.
I'm certain we'll find more, just like every other review I have since read about Master Vacation Homes property management. I will be interested to see where this goes, if anywhere. Some companies do the right thing when they find they, or one of their representatives are in the wrong. Others do not, because that is just how they operate their business.
Ultimately, this is just another property management organization that is poorly managed, in it to make a quick dollar, and with absolutely no clue what customer service, honesty, or integrity even mean.”
