The furniture I ordered was delivered when they said and was of the quality I expected for the price , however when I wanted to return an item that was surplus to requirements, I had to pay £50 to have it collected when it was only cost £109 ! So make sure you actually want an item before you commit to the order as their returns policy is pants !!!!!!

The phoneline staff couldn't have been more helpful. Everything they did was prompt and very informative. Had a small blip with the returns collection but that now is being resolved. More than pleased with the service and thank you.

We bought a large rug for our living room and we love it!
Having bought and returned two rugs from other companies that just didn't meet our requirements which involved inconvenient collections and returns and disgruntled retail assistants, we were absolutely thrilled with Matalan Direct - the selection of good available was great, the ordering process easy, the delivery on time and as promised and the rug looks amazing! Very old fashioned and restrictive delivery and returns process - have to sit in and wait all day! Should be able to use Matalan stores as a 'click and collect' for smaller items such as toilet seats!
