“The Fitzroy Auto Blue is my second timepiece from the Melbourne Watch Company, the first is a 2018 Finders 'Showroom Edition' with the Swiss made Sellita Cal. SW200-1 mechanical movement. I will confess to having my eye on the Fitzroy for a while, but they proved extremely popular, and so I was obliged to bide my time (pun intended). Although originally smitten by the green version, I settled on the equally striking blue model as a more 'practical' choice for daily wear. I am very pleased with how well crafted this watch is; the fit and finish is excellent, and the Seiko Cal. NH35 movement is well regarded as practical, efficient, and durable--hence I fully expect years of faultless service from this watch. I have nothing but praise for Sujain and his team. Their passion for creating outstanding customer experiences as well as outstanding wristwatches sets them apart from other micro-brands in the marketplace. In closing, the Fitzroy Auto Blue is destined to replace my much-loved 15 year old Traser P6502 Navigator as my first choice for everyday wear.”
