We have an ecodan which is pile of garbage. No heating and hot water again. Our ecodan breaks on an annual basis. Mitsubishi couldn't care less. They use it as a money making opportunity to charge sky high service charges.

Hello, I raised a request for my air conditioner. The customer relationship manager named SHAMA from Delhi NCR service centre, she asked me details, then when i was finding all details, she said sir call back again i have lot of customers flow right now. Is this the way your CRM’s behave with customers. I just want to ask why is she there if she can’t solve my problem?? After trying 2-3 times for 6minutes. Then i got chance and she was saying call back again. Please ask miss SHAMA why is she there if she doesn’t want to help customers. Thank you This is request no. By this you will get to know the person which was on call with me. Thanks for calling Mitsubishi Electric. Your request no. DEL2406134458, Dt : 13-06-2024 registered with us & will be responded shortly. MEICMC!

We live in the complex of 32 apartments and almost everybody have problem with Mitsubishi Ecodan. Within few months some starting having problems and were changed on guarantees. Unfortunately most of them starting having different problems just after guarantee ( after 2 years). Many are leaking water and it is not possible to repair them in any way. The whole Ecodan box must be changed for the price 6.500-7.200€ !!! ( depends on quotations people got). Many are making very high noise, so bad that people claim they can not sleep. The control panels are not working etc etc. Some people in that complex are already on Ecodan nr 3 within only 3 years and they had to pay for new machines. Mitsubishi don't care at all, they try to blame everybody, but not bad quality of product they are selling. After sending some emails to Japan, finally some technicals were coming to look, but that is all. We were told we need to change the Whole Ecodan box and pay many thousand Euros for this. We are not going to give up! When Boilers should last 20 years, Customers can not be forced to change them every 2-3 years and pay thousand of Euros every time!

Awful waste of a lot of money We had an eco Dan heat pump fitted last summer. It was an expensive process but I used some money l’d recently inherited thinking it would be an investment and save me money in the future. Sadly it has cost me a fortune ever since due to a faulty system. We have no control over the heating system which will come on full blast even on the hottest of days. The pump runs even when the heating and hot water is turned off. Our plumber said it was a fault with the ecodan so we paid almost £300 for a Mitsubishi engineer to look at it. They said it was wired wrong yet the problem persists. Mitsubishi wants us to pay again for an engineer to come out despite them not resolving the problem previously. I have called 3 times in the past week and emailed and no one is listening. Our electricity bills have gone through the roof. My suggestion is don’t go near their products. It has caused endless stress and cost an absolute fortune

Mitsubishi Electric UK - Ecodan pumps - you better think twice! If you’re thinking of getting one of these you better run away as far as possible. These Ecodan pumps are supposed to be efficient (can’t guarantee this though) but if it breaks down you’re doomed. First of all it is extremely hard to find a technician who knows how to deal with these pumps and who also has availability. Then, their so called ‘trusted installers’ who are supposed to be trained by Mitsubishi have no idea how to repair one of these. All they know is how to service it and they also charge astronomical fees. In the end, if you need one of Mitsubishi’s technicians to come and fix it, you are lucky if you book one in the next 2 weeks. And believe me, is quite a nightmare in the winter without heating / warm water! In terms of reliability things look bad also. Out of 5 units installed at the same time: - the first one broke down in the first 2-3 months - the second one in the first year - the third one in the second year - the fourth one after 3 years, exactly after the warranty expired - the fifth one no issues yet Mitsubishi Electric is only interested in selling these units and they don’t care about their customers afterwards. Their after sale services are almost inexistent. Oh, and they are also interested in selling their annual service + breakdown cover for only £400 per year! Also, there is no complaints section on their website - probably they believe anybody using their products / services could have no reason to complain. And if you fill in a complaint in their contact section nobody bothers to reply anyway. But hey, you can control your unit using your smartphone - welcome to the 21st century!
