“16 Months into my complaint with Moneybarn they still fall short off what was requested via the Financial Ombudsman.
Moneybarn have no customer vaules what so ever after a long process with complaints the car was deemed faulty at point off sale therefore the ask was to return the Goods.
Moneybarn agreed to reject the vehicle not that they had much choice but in term when the vehicle was collected they sent there agents around to my home at 06:30AM and progressd to filming me very rude and unprofessional.
The collection company also did not inform me they were coming this company is an absolute mess.
The new finance I have with advantage finance show what customer service levels should be like. AVOID AVOID AVOID
Moneybarn still report adverse information to my credit file that was asked to be removed but again after 12 Emails it still remains in state.”

The Company tries to get reports done from companies like ACE who are a 'external' inspection Company who are also a joke! The judge laughed at their reports because the tried to claim the issue in 'their professional opinion' wasn't present at the point of sale which was 4 weeks prior to writing the report... Professional is the last word I'd use to describe them..”
“NO CUSTOMER VAULES AT ALL AVOID
Moneybarn were asked By the Financial Ombudsman service to reject my vehicle and make arrangements to collect the Vehicle and return additional funds to myself and or remove any adverse credit information from my credit profile.
It has been 1 month since Moneybarn agreed to the Financial Ombudsmans findings. Further to this i have called into Moneybarn every other day and have been promised a call back within 48 Hours i have never been in receipt off a call back.
The Financial Ombudsman asked Moneybarn to get this complaint resolved within 4 weeks off receipt that Moneybarn agree to the findings.
I have not heard anything back and have been calling as a matter off urgency as i will soon be going away for 3 Months I'm sure somthing your agree would be beneficial to get the car back before i head away.
This matter needs to be resolved ASAP Moneybarn have not met there customer vaules on this occasion and have caused me and my Family no end off stress.

“Moneybarn (owned by the FTSE 250 doorstep lender Provident Financial) is one of those money lending sharks that should have been closed down years ago, they would rather you kill yourself than give you a payment holiday due to serious bereavement and a fire and the financial implications this has. They are an inhumane company with no ethics nor morals, and do not care about the real world, nor real people, they have one goal, to prey on people that are vulnerable to extort as much money as they can from you and then your life means nothing to them, they own you, and will try and ruin your life for the long term, this is a company that will give you nightmares and sleepless nights and suicidal thoughts, but don’t bother sharing this with them as they 100% don’t care, it’s a case of your money or your life quite literally, it really is that simple for them! This they make blatantly obvious when you find yourself having short term financial difficulties, and even with light at the end of the tunnel, they are not interested, they treat you like some low life scumbag that deserves to die if you need just a reasonable payment break due to unforeseen circumstances, circumstances that are provable by legal and medical means and backed up with evidence of the unforeseen short term circumstance and evening knowing that they still pursue you like a mischief of sewer rats. Their interest rates are absolutely disgusting and I thought companies like this had been abolished for our protection, sadly not, and I dread to think how many people have taken their own lives due to Moneybarn, and the diabolical way they treat people, absolutely despicable and however desperate you are for money, DO NOT have anything to do with Moneybarn or Car Finance 247, they would rather you commit suicide than be professionally reasonable of people’s circumstances. I would liken them to a pack rabid dogs who will pick over the bones of your dead body until there is nothing left of you to sell. I can only hope that what they put out into the world and do to people will come back on them three fold! My opinion is also backed up by Moneybarn being fined £33 million by the courts of law concerning the disgusting way they treat people: “Moneybarn to pay £33m in fines and compensation”, have a read of that for yourself!”

So my next options is to get the press involved and possibly a call to Jeramy vine show on bbc radio 2 . No reply to emails never get through on the phone i work 9 till 5.30 so office is closed when I finish work . I will go to court as advised by a solicitor as I will get a quicker response, my redress as discussed with FOS a plus compensation for the fact you don’t response and have put me in difficulty for 4years.. I’m not asking for a 2hour phone call just an email to get my bank details and my pay out. Just as you would if the shoe was on the other foot. Surely it’s a simple process now all the investigation has been done or isit because your in the wrong and don’t want to pay out so will drag it on as long as possible?

“Purchased a Van and the paint is peeling off after 3 months of purchasing and van needs a full respray now have spent months with no replies went to FOS and they told them they need to pay for respray and asked to get quotes over then told even though sent 3 similar ones they are too expensive. I now have a van not worth a penny with 3 years finance owed still and they are not even responding to FOS......Customer Service is something they need training in!!!!! “Absolutely discussing company , took a holiday break through covid , now there saying they want it all payed back before the agreement ends April 23 . So they want £700 a month , we can’t pay that I’ve done everything they have asked us to do but nothing is good enough, all they want is BLOOD 🩸 . We have no choice but to hand the car back after paying over £13000 already , that’s means I’m going go to loss my job but they don’t give a scobby . “I have had to take extra medication due to this company. I had to shield over covid couldnt work, they will only accept to make up the payments an extra 140 a month, which is nearly double my normal amount. I hae had letters all to my old address, eventhough changed it and reminded them,so many unanswered emails, i cant sleep, they just dont care........find someone who has some little amount of care before getting a car finance with them. Mines with the ombudsman, but they still refuse to put the account on hold.”
“I'm absolutely appalled that after 6 conversations about the "loss of value" bill I received money barn have now decided to register this with the credit agencies.
They sent me a bill for work on a van that is 8 years old, of which was returned in the same condition i purchased it off them in. They have no report on the van prior to me purchasing it to show it was in better condition either.
the van I purchased from their "approved supplier" was returned to moneybarn in the same condition I purchased it in apart from the sign writing and mileage, which moneybarn lent against the condition of the van at the time!!!!!! So how on earth can they now try and bill me? Is it because they had no idea of the condition of the van you was lending against????
The breaks fell off the van after 3 weeks of purchasing and after reporting this they did not reply to anything which cost me £400, the approved supplier also did not reply!!!
I will be taking this to county court now, I cannot believe they have the cheek to bill me for work to a van that was returned in the same condition I purchased it in....
