“I’ve been with More Than Accountants for almost a year now, under a two-year contract. When I first joined, I was in contact with a team member named Jessica Aspinall, who assured me that while a contract is in place, they would be happy to review things should any issues arise.
Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. Despite raising concerns multiple times and clearly communicating that I have not received the service I was promised, More Than Accountants have refused to cancel my contract unless I pay a termination fee. This is incredibly frustrating considering the lack of support I’ve received. My financial records are in disarray, and I’ve been given conflicting and misleading information throughout my time with them.
I made it clear that I would remain in the contract for now purely because I refuse to pay more for a service that has already failed me. I also said I would be sharing my honest experience publicly — not as a threat, but as a way to protect others from going through what I have. In response, they accused me of blackmail.
To be clear: I have no interest in creating drama. I just want to make sure others are aware of my experience. If you’re considering signing up with them, I’d strongly advise you to think twice.

“Horrendous service. Stay well clear. "3 hour guaranteed response time" is more like 3 weeks. Bookkeeping staff are utterly clueless at categorising revenue/expenses. Payroll staff have very little knowledge and I have caught them out on several occasions. They spend 0 time on management accounts and I have found mistakes on every VAT return. The latest changed by over £2000 after I queried some errors. Guaranteed I get an almost instant reply to this review.”
