I bought a hedge petrol trimmer which still had 6 months warranty left when it kept on stopping I had it checked out and it needed a diaphragm kit so I contacted mow direct told them the issue and they said I would receive a call later that day three days later no call so I phoned again and the woman said she only works 3 days aweek and she can only do so much, mow direct decided the diaphragm is not covered so now they are going to charge for the repair its two weeks now and I still don't have my machine back and hardly no communication this service is a disgrace and will never buy another item review will be posted on google.

Bought a jetwaah from them and called them about it as its faulty and took them 3 weeks to collect it then poor commucation as been over 5 weeks and still not returned or looked at now want to return it as dont belive me its faulity and been very unhelpful thro out Will never buy from them again I should get a refund due to being not fit for purpose

Machine doesn't work and have now spent nearly 2 hours on hold supposedly #1 in the que. Absolute joke, wish I hadn't bought from them

All started so promisingly when dealing with a polite and helpful lady. Consequently an order was placed for the RACTEA90-2 ride on mower. The delivery people were very polite but as this is nothing to do with MowDirect this doesn't warrant another star. When the item was offloaded and taken out of the cage, the problems started. The tractor would start without a problem however it wouldn't drive forward or back. I spoke to a man who advised me to remove the chute at the rear of the unit and to apply the foot to the brake to allow for the drive belt to be replaced. this was duly done. I was offered £20 compensation for my troubles and also informed that this had happened to someone else only the day before. This doesn't offer much confidence. However the machine drove for 20 yards and the belt came off again. Now being no expert on these machines I rang back and spoke to the same person who gave a few options, 1 they would send another belt from another tractor to attach. 2 they would send a replacement. To me it was clear that sending out another belt wasn't the answer and that during this period the grass was going to grow at an alarming rate. I therefore opted for the 2nd choice, a replacement as this machine wasn't fit for purpose. This is where the person I spoke to told me to consider another lawnmower that was another £600 dearer as I had bought the budget version and this was the cheapest machine around. He clearly didn't understand the term not fir for purpose as he claimed the lawn mower didn't meet my requirements for purpose. The conversation then took another turn when he said he would arrange for a kerb side collection of the item and that I was expected to lift the tractor onto a pallet. I explained that this was a ridiculous comment to make and not feasible due to my health condition. I was quickly told that this isn't there problem and that it falls with in there terms and conditions. By now I was a little aggrieved by his tone and not accepting of his thoughtless request, I said I would have a field day on social media with this company. Now somehow this has been construed as threatening behaviour when all I would be doing as I am right now is reporting factual information relating to the service I experienced. I eventually agreed to attempt to get the lawnmower on the pallet when the courier company arrived. I also requested a speedy turnaround as they wouldn't offer a replacement until the faulty machine was returned. They would look to see what could be achieved. By now this person was taking everything personally and saying that he had done everything he could to resolve the matter and I was wasting his time, That was rich coming from someone who clearly didn't understand my needs. The final straw came when they decided to send a courier out for collecting the item and that they would now refund the money as they didn't want to deal with me. I would urge anyone that want to consider dealing with this company to think long and hard about giving up your hard earned cash so easily as to add insult to injury, I wouldn't receive my refund for 14 days after the return. This I am afraid is unacceptable.

Spent 439 on an electric mower. First one failed, second one failed so I asked for a refund. Many calls and many months later, promise of refund after promise of refund now money returned by Mowdirect. I raised a section 75 complaint to get my kidney back from the bank. Awful company, poor product and poor service.

Shocking company. Order 30/11/2021 never turned up. Chased to find their courier didn't deliver but returned to them. Agreed a refund 17th Dec.told 14 days 3 emails 2 phone calls later it appears their customer service team are a 2 man/woman 3rd party with no powers. Basically a call/email answering service. Don't gamble with your money give these jokers a very wide berth.

Sold me a faulty machine for over £400 in March, made me wait until October for a replacement and ended up sending me another faulty machine! Avoid this company at all costs. They ignore your calls and emails too. I still haven't received a replacement.

My father bought a ride on mower on 5th June, it was delivered on the 17th June damaged. Looked like it had been bashed around had loads of bent bits and body damage. Emailed them straight away and followed up with a call. Told they would arrange a collection. Wasn't collected until 28th June after numerous calls and emails. Fobbed off with guy is busy training a member of staff or not in or in a meeting and nobody else can deal with it. We requested a refund. Got email to say it had been inspected and a refund would be issued 5-10 days. It's now 16th July and no refund. Always get fobbed off with an excuse. Only one finance person and he's been off ill. It's getting a joke. I wouldn't recommend them. Since writing this review I have been fobbed off again. Saying the money will be in his account in a few days. Don't trust them.

Appalling customer service - mower broke a few months after buying - sent it back - they said it's not their fault - they have not even returned it so I can't even get it fixed. the mower is a piece of cr*p to have just broken like that. no one gets back to you.

Purchased a Stihl Kombi engine on 9th March 2021 for £420 and it is faulty. It is not the 26th June 2021 and I am still waiting for a replacement or refund. Emails and voicemail are not replied. Very poor customer service.

Brought a lawn mower, after 3 cuts the hand bar didn't work, phoned and they told us what to do. Then the petrol leaked was a hole in the tube, send us the part, we said its under guarantee, said only the motor, we manage to do that then the motor starting cutting out, again told us to empty the petrol and that it was a airlock. I emailed them and ask for a new one or my money back, they didn't reply this time. We took it to be repaired and it was an airlock and needed a new spark plug, cost us £40. was only 8 months old and we didn't use it for 5 month through the winter. If I had brought it in a shop they would have gave your money back, don't buy from them...

Don't whatever you do give any money to this company they still owe me 1600 for a ride on that never came took my money then went into liquidation never saw a penny changed name to Chipperfield now its back as mow direct These are true conmen be warned p. S don't trust the reviews on any other platform there mostly employed by them they will go bancrupt again and take everyone's money to feed there fat faces and pointless lives

I placed an order for a ride-on mower and a mulching kit. The mower turned up as ordered. The £150 mulcher that was delivered was clearly used and second-hand. The cover that had been promised did not arrive and the manual was for a different mower. They do not answer the phone and have ignored 4 emails. I have now passed the matter to my credit card company to reclaim money. Thanks goodness the problem wasnt with the mower itself !!!!!

Truly awful customer service, no response from email, no reply from telephone calls, can't be bothered attitude, lure you with keen prices, take your money then abandon you. Avoid.

Bought a Chainsaw. Never arrived. Sent 3 emails didn't get a reply. Had to open a case through PayPal. Do not buy from this company

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE. Bought a machine from them and arrived MASSIVELY DAMAGED, one wheel was knocked right out of place never mind buckled and the exhaust guard buckled and even snapped in places, the machine must have been subjected to such an immense hit to cause the damage. There were also no fixings to attach the handlebars or even an instruction book so would be useless anyway. After sending a message via ebay explaining the situation I was told to contact customer 'care' which I did, after speaking to a colleague and again explaining, I was told to email the company explaining yet again what the problem is and they will get back to me in the morning. I did this including photos. The day after I heard nothing, and the day after that. I sent another ebay message, it was simply ignored, I sent another, I got a reply to call or email customer 'care', so basically just ping ponged from each form of contact with a couple of days in between. I called 4 times and left voicemails, no response. After yet another message explaining I have had no response I was eventually told after 10 days I had to pack the machine using my own methods and materials ( I disposed of the original packaging as I didn't see the damage at first). The machine was very well packed and I couldn't see how the damage could have been made with such great packaging and no sign of damage to it. I am still awaiting my refund, I strictly do not want a replacement as it is one of if not the worst purchases I have ever made. Customer service is absolutely nill. I will buy the same machine from a different supplier if and when I am refunded.

Appalling customer service! Still waiting on a response from Customer Services after 2 emails and 3 left messages. Being advised to hang up, redial and select one of the other options is not an acceptable way to treat customers - particularly when the "other options" hardly ever answer!
