“To be honest I felt that not releasing the information on weather or not there was finances owed on the car on the basic tariff . Means that I would not use it for purchasing a second hand car , I feel this is a vital piece of info that most people would expect , I felt a bit let down as when you are checking for a potential car to buy out of a few , it would cost too much money to check too many on the more expensive tariffs . Felt a bit hoodwinked”

Hi, many thanks for your feedback. We are always considering how to improve the products and packages we offer, so this is very useful to us. Many customers use the different levels of products for different purposes. We would suggest that the Classic product is useful for shortlisting many cars and utilising the Gold or Platinum check for the car you intend to buy, depending on it's value. Thanks.

“This is a great service . Even the basic check gives a reassurance that the car is what it is supposed to be with no hidden past..The print out 'certificate' helps enormously to gain a successful sale. .......Through this service I have discovered many many write offs that even their owners were not aware of.!!!!!...”

“Swift and easy service. My only comment would be that on the mobile version of the form it is difficult to tell whether you have selected yes or no to having results via text etc. Making it clearer which has been chosen (eg radio buttons) would make it easier.”
