“good comms-hpi at its best,very helpful and efficient pity the finance companies were not as good at removing the outstanding finance markers on cars once they were fully paid off should be legislation in place to stop this happening-its all to common sadly”

“A local dealer was in the process of ordering a 'nearly new' car for me via a website that I had not previously heard of. I therefore checked with you that the car existed and that its specification was as listed on the data that he gave me. Your check-up confirmed that it was as described. I have now purchased the car and it is fine! So the service you gave me was very satisfactory.”

“Good for vehicle details and condition report, this included outstanding finance, insurance history, ID check,whether vehicle has history of being stolen, plate transfer, colour change, if vehicle had ever been srapped, exported and VIN check. Could only check vehicle milage up to 2007. Purchased vehicle from honest guy who provided subsequent mot's to verify up to present. Reassuring, but let down by the milage record up to 2007. ????”

“Generally very good but a recent check I did that gave a vehicle the green light in all sections didn't alert me to the fact that there was a difference in mileage on the MOT's where during one year the mileage fell by over 10k on the previous year, this could be either a replaced used odometer or the vehicle had been clocked!!”

“Report received in minutes and highlighted two areas for investigation. Outstanding finance shown on report and I contacted Mycarcheck for further information as recommended. They contacted finance provider who confirmed debt had been cleared. Second issue over mileage recorded as 20000 when car said 13000 they could not say who submitted this but did alert me to make additional checks which seemed to prove report inaccurate . Although both warnings proved unfounded it did put me on alert and onus on seller to prove things were ok”
