We visited Nando's IOI City Mall for brunch on 17 June 2026 at approximately 11:20 am. Although we have dined here many times before, this experience may unfortunately be our last. At the time, the restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of empty tables. We were initially assigned a table next to another family. As we preferred a quieter table further away, my husband pointed to an available table at the back of the restaurant. I politely asked the waitress if we could sit there instead. The waitress, a young lady wearing glasses and a tudung, responded in an irritated tone that the table was "for 4–5 people", although it was not the table my husband had indicated. When I clarified and pointed to the other table at the back, she replied, "Huh! Ikut suka lah!" ("Do whatever you want"), in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. At that point, we decided to leave the restaurant and dine elsewhere. As customers, we appreciate good food, a pleasant environment, and most importantly, courteous service. First impressions matter, and the interaction with the staff was disappointing enough that we chose not to stay for a meal. Nando's charges a 10% service charge, and customers reasonably expect a certain standard of professionalism and courtesy in return. I hope management will take this feedback constructively and continue to train staff to treat all customers with respect, regardless of age, appearance, or background. This review is not about the food, as we never got the opportunity to order. It is solely about the customer service experience we encountered upon arrival.

Ate at Nando's today at the Scottburgh restaurant. Cups were filthy and disgusting. Chicken and chips was bland . The most frustrating thing was opening steaming hot rolls and finding raw dough inside. No flavour nor taste. It was definitely not worth the price. Do not recommend!! Absolutely disappointing!

They got my order wrong. Charged me for the wrong order. Deleted my Peri Perks points. When i complained, they blocked my account and refused to reimburse my stolen money. They should simply cancel the points system as it is stealing our personal information and not returning anything back to us.

Contacted Nando’s regarding the lost points- Unfortunately, Perks Points expire if no transactions are made using your account for more than 12 months. Need to review the policy.

How do you pay over £7 for a portion of large chips? Two small pieces of garlic bread that’s £5. Large coleslaw £7? How does a restaurant justify this!???! RIP off. Coming from a South African, living in the UK. The pro is has gone up massively! The quality is rubbish. And definitely not what it use to be. Nando’s will never see us again. And we’re a family of 5! Spent over £120 on our meals and drinks. I’m so disgusted.

Very disappointed in Nando's at Browns Plains this afternoon. The staff were incredibly unfriendly, unhelpful and disinterested in me as a paying customer. The food was expensive for such small servings. We found a long blonde hair in the parmesan salad and we're brunettes. Yuck!! We will NOT be back....ever.

What a horrible experience! As a nandos virgins we thought we'd take our grandbabies there after the cinema, yuk! Awful dry chicken in the children's pitta, my spicy rice salad was just horrible and my husbands chicken cheese burger was dry, no cheese tasted and revolting....non of the food was worth the money we paid. NEVER AGAIN.

Just had food delivered, and the main of our child's meal was missing. After trying to get through to the 'dedicated' delivery customer service department, the phone rang unanswered for 15 minutes. Try to call the restaurant, but again nobody answered. After another 15 minutes waiting to for the customer service department, they eventually answered and all they offered was a £1.50 refund which is clearly less than the value of the missing item! This is very poor customer service and inadequate compensation for your mistake. The refund should be more online with the value of the missing item as well as your service charge, as clearly on this occasion you have provided a poor service!

The menu says ‘4 chicken thighs for $12’. You don’t get 4 thighs. You get four pieces of thigh meat. It’s ä huge ripoff.

Went to Inverness branch waited forever for Luke warm food paid £150 for all of us offered a £25 voucher absolute disgrace. We are going to try and reclaim our monies in the small claim court. Not only that the place was filthy so EHO will also be getting a call, DON’T GO!!!!!

Southport branch sat down 30 minutes after restaurant opening for a birthday meal, l got the order in, paid, all good. Starters arrived tepid but still ok carry on people it's a birthday meal. Starters having been started were soon followed by Beccy "The Manager” sorry but we don't have any chicken cooked, actually forget the sorry that word was never uttered. Shock horror confusion from me a chicken restaurant that’s just opened for the day and no cooked chicken.......Beccy it's going to be 30 minutes wait for chicken OR you can pick something else, apart from chicken with another starter on them. Dazzled by the offers but not in a good way I felt it was time to pack up and move on the somewhere else to have a meal without gaps of 30mins between courses + I know this place of old and a Nandos 30min is Nando Ish speak for 45mins to an hour. Now at this is the point is where Beccy really let down the company and the brand when I requested a full refund including the starters and drinks pointing out that we were only informed after the starters had landed of the delay which made the whole meal untenable for us. Sadly, in Beccy's opinion and in her mind, we had been given two really good options so now standing her ground became more important and therefore not refunding our starters and the drinks which in reality would have only cost Nandos around £6 in terms of cost of the food to them. What they did instead was dump the starters on us fully aware of the delay on the main courses in order to collect the cost of said starters as they'd already been cooked. With a total dismissal for a clearly very unhappy customer at that point Beccy left for the kitchen never to be seen again. The result as always in these types of confrontations is that the customer will vote with their feet typically our spend in Nandos per year is around £500 on birthday meals and other family occasions now we will never set foot in that restaurant chain again. Also, I will be contacting their head offices to seek a full refund and complain about my experience and finally leaving a similar reviews to this one on Tripadvisor and Google. Awful experience which could have been handled so much better by the manager and at very little cost to the restaurant itself.

Ordered 2 side of chicken breast $5.99 each and two sides of rice my total with tip was $37 dollars I asked why and they said oh cause you got the butterfly chicken breast which is not even on there menu and they charged me a $5.00 carry out fee! They lost me as a customer!

It’s takes 45 minutes for our food was served and it’s already cold. Turn out the food was been sitting on the counter for sometime. And as we left and so with the other costumer on the other table since we were talking , how bad the service was, we heard them - the staff laughing. Huh! ? just wondering if it’s a Racial as we Asian and the other table was Mexican . The location was Nando’s in Downtown,Naperville, Illinois. dated ( 6/18/24) evening

I purchased a regular Mac and cheese from Nando on Hurontario. When I got home the portion was only half. When I called the lady told me they have been directed by head office to cut the portions. After displaying the regular container on the counter they charge for regular put only half fill it. So please make sure you look before you leave the store as this is their new directive. I won’t be going back there again.

Someone needs to tell Nandos that they are serving chicken , not beef. Your portions are small , your prices are high and after we spend $72 on 1 adult and 2 kids we are still hungry. It’s chicken $5 per whole chicken wholesale does not mean you can charge $40-$50 per chicken cooked. Better potions elsewhere and quality is better at charcoal chicken shops

Order taking people at Nandos are the worst especially at thr Heartland Mississauga branch. They gave me the wrong order, argued with me that i made the mistake which i told here repeatedly i never order what they gave me since they have my historical purchase and insist they cannot correct my order. Lousy service front line people. Didnt even give me my receipt.

RIP OFF BRITAIN YET AGAIN. ordered a full chicken on deliveroo cost £17.50 WOW. nobody in their right minds should be charging that for small chick not even an adult chicken, every mainstream supermarket sells cooked chickens twice the size for around £4.50. No value with this company. Only one word THEIVES
