“For me an 18ton lorry is a bit over the top for a 20ft stable. A smaller vehicle might not have destroyed so many paving slabs.”

“The team that erected all 3 buildings were excellent - they turned up promptly, were friendly and completed all of the work on time. In terms of the design, I am a little disappointed at the lack of door seals, the fact that all external hinges and locks are fitted with normal Phillips head screws and thus easy to remove from a security point of view and I am disappointed that the roof lights means that I get condensation and significant water inside the buildings as a result.....all of these issues could have been explained at the point of ordering the buildings and thus my expectations would have been managed at the outset...and in some cases, addressed”

“The building is really strong and only took a day to put up, I did have to wait 3 months for the building which I had not anticipated. Perhaps next time I would call to confirm delivery run in before ordering on line.”

“Pleased with the stables. However we have had to sort out the front guttering as the lads cut it too short and it was leaking just above a stable door. Otherwise the quality was good.”

“Good design service and installation. Happy with both buildings I have purchased in the last 18 months. Rating 4 out of 5 (Good), only just missing 5 out of 5 as after sales/install service is a little lacking (Problem with the shed door was never resolved).”

“I was going to order a second set of stables from you, however, there were two things that influenced my decision to go elsewhere and I in fact purchased a double set of stables (well, one side is a stable and the other a field shelter to be precise) from Vale Stables in the end; firstly it took nearly a year for you to fix the guttering on the stables you supplied, in spite of me repeatedly chasing this up and it was only by my finally threatening to get someone else out to fix the problem and invoice your company, that it was sorted out (which was a little galling given how quick off the mark Edward was to demand payment last time around) and secondly, when I called and spoke to Edward to place an order, he informed me that the price had increased by nearly £1,000. When I queried why this was so (at this stage it had not yet been a year since my last order) he told me that all timber suppliers across the UK had put their prices up; having phoned around various other companies that seemed not to be the case, no-one else that I spoke to was aware of a nationwide price hike. Edward then told me that the reason why the price had gone up by nearly £1,000 was in fact that he'd done me a special deal on the last stables I'd ordered. I'm sorry to say that he very much had not done me any kind of a deal (I even went back and checked our correspondence, texts and emails) and at the time I had been left in no doubt by him that the price was the price, it was made very plain to me that there was no discount to be had anywhere. So for just shy of £5,000 I bought a combined stable and field shelter from Vale Stables with a variety of extras not offered by National Stables. While I'd say that the build quality isn't quite as good as yours I was treated courteously, I wasn't lied to and I wasn't made to feel that my calling in order to spend a not inconsiderable sum of money was an inconvenience. Your product is good, your customer service not so much so.”

“The product is very good. A little slow in confirming receipt of money and not very good at responding to calls. Otherwise, the team who erected the stables were super speedy and efficient (I do believe these are external contractors) and did an excellent job.”

We are currently investing in a new exciting IT/Accounting system which will automatically update our customers when they make a payment to us as other customers have also picked up on this as an area for improvement.
