“Communication between Nationwide and our tenant when arranging the appointment was a bit hit and miss. Tenant stated they hadn’t heard anything and Nationwide said they’d been trying - but they didn’t think to come back to me as the customer to let me know they were having issues.”

“I booked an EICR with this company weeks in advance, as landlords are legally required to have this inspection completed on time. When I made the booking, there was plenty of availability across multiple dates this month, so I had no reason to believe there would be an issue. At 3pm the day before the appointment, I received a message stating that the booking was cancelled and that they were “unable to attend at all this month.” Their only solution? A refund. No offer of an alternative engineer, no attempt to rearrange within the legal timeframe, nothing. A refund does not solve the problem when you’re facing a regulatory deadline and now have less than 24 hours to find another qualified provider, something that is practically impossible at such short notice. This level of unreliability puts landlords at risk of legal non‑compliance and financial penalties. If you have statutory obligations to meet, I strongly recommend you do not rely on this service. The lack of professionalism and complete disregard for legal timeframes has caused unnecessary stress and risk. Avoid if you need an EICR done on time.”

“So easy to deal with. Booked an EICR for 3 of our rental properties, they liaised with the Tenants to arrange a time/date to attend and then sent through the certificates when completed. Tenants commented that they were on time, professional and effectient. Reasonably priced and would definitely recommend.”
